As a huge boxing fan and KSI fan (yes somehow we exist lmao) I must say that despite the very bad technique by both men I believe that if JJ didn’t receive the illegal blow he would’ve gotten the 5th round stoppage! Reason being is JJ started well in the first, despite the sloppy punching there was thought behind the shots! Logan couldn’t find his range from his jab because JJ would Bob down and jab to the body forcing Logan backwards and unable to land, the second round JJ stepped the pace up and made Logan feel uncomfortable, unloading harder shots, he went downstairs and then upstairs with his shots! Simple but effective! But he was only landing in ones! Logan looked shaky and started to leave his body open because he dipped his head back, leading to more body shots! In the third, JJ started to pick up a higher pace, he landed a light shot to the body and went upstairs! Now at first it might not look impressive but Logan actually walked into an overhand and he had to run back into the corner where he got dropped with a shot! Instead of throwing in ones he’d started to land in 3s/4s and had just dropped Logan! In the 4th Logan looked on the edge, and JJ had completely closed the gap! Then of course the illegal shots happened! And that set JJ back a round and in the 6th round, JJ went for broke and started swinging for it and in my opinion won the round! But if JJ wasn’t set back I believe he would’ve ended the final 30 seconds dropping Logan and hurting him badly! And in the 5th continued the pressure and stopping Logan on the feet

He looked like he didn’t wanna be there. He was used to being the bad guy and he thrived off the peoples negative perspective of him. Now that he has done some soul searching and growth and people were counting on him, he froze. JJ has an unbreakable mindset hence why he’s so successful. Being a bit crazy helps to

I think a huge part of the fight was that Logan was never really pushed in training camp and all the technique he learned was all fancy to him and he never used it in any serious situations! If you look at any of Logan’s training it’s all fancy, he doesn’t use the speed bag properly and the only reason he does well is because of his size and power and natural athleticism, that is extremely tough to overcome at the stage they are at! But moving back to the subject at hand I think Logan was so used to KO’ing sparring partners with a forceful jab and power, but JJ had pushed himself into the deep end the entire camp and got used to taking a beating! That’s why when fight night came, Logan looked uncomfortable and JJ did not, JJ prepared for the worst case scenario which would be an all out war! Logan prepared to do what he always does, and when he didn’t get his way and all the fancy moves were taken away he had nothing, you can look like a fighter with the fancy looking technique, but if that’s all you have, fancy looking stuff, you’re gonna lose, JJ’s definitely not got the prettiest of styles but for their level of competition it’s very effective

Bruh fr, not only the fear of failure but the fear of getting actually hit. JJ is sick at taking hits and aint afraid of them but Logan gets scared easily
