Jack Hollmann Great video . guess the next video will be about compression and high oct fuel ? lol.............many thanks for all the great video's !!! hello from Belgium
This needs to be shared all over the groups. This little golden nugget of info can save people so much money. Thanks again for a spot on and important video mixed in with an out take 😂😂😂
Awesome video John. In Greece we have two options of pump fuel, gasoline 95 octane and 100 octane. However, most gas stations have bad quality of fuel due to additives that enhance fuel volume... for obvious reasons. Modern Jet Skis, ie four-strokes suffer from fuel pump, and injector issues.
Really enjoyed this episode and your tip about dropping a couple gallons into the truck before the jet ski tank, solid tip. So why is it that the watercraft industry hasn’t shifted to parts that are certified for ethanol blends. Seems like that is at least the normal in the US. Is it simply a cost thing, hp thing or something else. If the automotive industry did it, you’d think watercraft could too, but I’m no expert on the subject. Thanks for the great video!
Thanks for watching!! Honestly all of the new watercraft WOULD be ok for up to 10% ethanol. It is just the older skis. It is the same with old cars, lawn mowers etc. I still do NOT recommend ethanol fuel in a typical marine environment though as it can and will actualyl absorb water, and we are surrounded by water....
1) Don't have open containers of gas in a garage Especially with the door down. 2) Put paper towels down where you plan on spilling the gas ( dispose of by spreading outside immediately ). 7-P Principle. ☆
Here in Australia we just got socced with massive yearly licences & registration fee charges. It's costing us around $1000.oo a year just to own a jetski & trailer to keep it on the water. 🇦🇺😮💨
Rebuilt my carburetors twice and couldn’t figure out what was the problem also ski would run until under load it turned out to be the return line was clogged
