Crazy I just watched one of your videos on coils, must have had your ears itching haha. Love seeing all the growth you have had on your channel, I have learned a ton from you. I still can’t believe they pay us to do these goofy videos, what a blast lol. Hope you keep rocking it up there in Arkansas and that your husband is staying all patched up. Mike
The fuel still went bad, but the fuel stabilizer minimizes the amounts of corrosion. You’ll still have to clean your carburetor at the start of every season unless you run it dry and drain the bowl at the end of the season.
Brother Steve!!!! You have no idea how much this means to me, I have been watching your videos for years. Welcome aboard. Strap in my channel gets a bit weird and loose :)
@StevesSmallEngineSaloon Check this one out I think you will dig it. Chainsaw Milling Attachment - FAIL! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3KRk7VOhNhY.html Mike
For all the Canadians here, you easily test if the fuel from your favorite pump has ethanol or not. There are several videos on RU-vid that show how to do this and there are DIY videos that show how to separate ethanol from gasoline.
Unfortunately in Canada all gas now has ethanol in, government mandate a few months ago. (Should be a busy season for small engine repair come spring).
Hey thanks young man, i have been trying different additives too. One i have used, then see a test on youtube and turns out to be the worst! Ha. I will give this ethanol shield a try for this off season in my riding mower. Thanks for taking the extra step and removing the carb.
Our resort maintains 6 boats, 3 mowers, 4 chain saws, power washer, generator, string trimmers... ranging from 1/2hp to 220hp, 2 stroke & 4 stroke, and none of which have any fuel treatment for the E10 gas. It's all stored Oct-April, and never had any problems. This seems to call for a double-blind test with a control group to see if it really makes any difference.
I know Chickanic likes this stuff. Tatum did a test over 19 mos and the ethanolshield treated fuel ended up gelling. Maybe 19 mos is an unrealistic duration to treat any fuel. My question, does ethanolshield stabilize and protect against phase separation? I’ve been winterizing boats for years and since e-85 I’ve always used. Stabilizer and phase separating additive. Would much rather buy one product to do both.
Up here in Canada I called our Canadian tire and asked specifically what grade of gas they sell that's ethanol free, it is 91 octane supper, I still put some of that Ethanol shield in the can . good stuff.
@@kingstonsean Ordered it(Ethanol shield) online, for fuel stabilizer, I buy any brand that's on sale at Canadian tire, around my house a can of fuel only lasts 3-4 months, I only buy what I use in 3 months.
@@kwils6685 It is the governments fault. Every year to win Iowa Republicans and Democrats promise to keep corn in the fuel. In Texas there are certain counties where you can buy real gas. Check out this website. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-S9JZtya3qsM.html
It would've been nice if you had at least tested it by mowing the lawn first. Also, I don't know if I can accept any of your information if you're the kind of guy who uses an iphone l O L.
