Also a little more info on Hayden, her forehead tattoo is the hebrew names of her favourite archangel and demon, Gabriel and Ashmedai, and her music is actually entirely self written AND produced which to me is just INSANE. Also she has two more albums planned, one will focus on the story of Ethel’s mother, and the next on her paternal grandmother, to create a complete trilogy of the stories of 3 women and how trauma can be passed down through generations. For some more background info, her real name is Hayden, and “Ethel Cain” is actually a character she created, and her album “Preacher’s Daughter” tells the story of this character and her struggles with intergenerational and religious trauma. It’s such a beautiful and captivating piece of art and I’d really love to see your reaction to the whole thing, but it is quite long😭 If you just want to react to individual songs by her, I think you’d love “Family Tree” and “Thoroughfare”!!❤❤
