Located almost 1,000 feet in the sky, Abuna Yemata Guh is a church in Ethiopia, which was carved into the rocks in the 5th century. Remarkably, people attend church here regularly despite its nail-bitingly high location, and on this day comedian Romesh Ranganathan takes on the challenge to reach it. As one of the most inaccessible churches on the planet, Romesh becomes acquainted with ropes, harnesses, and a 20-foot vertical climb to reach these lofty heights - but is his journey worth the scramble?

For anyone wondering, this amazing chapel is carved into sandstone that was part of the Precambrian basement. It's Ethiopian Orthodox, and dedicated to Abuna Yemata / Abba Yem'ata, who was one of the nine saints. More info: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abuna_Yemata_Guh
