Specialty livestock for breeding etc yes. It however is more lucrative to export livestock products once processed locally like Brazil eg cornbeef.

Well China is looking forward to increase tariffs on the west that's why they importing now more from Ethiopia. China got slapped with tariffs on EVs, so now the west will struggle with exporting to China specifically with meat.
