Some corrections: Eritrea has a lot of minerals like gold, silver, copper, potash which are being mined. There are about 4 or 5 gold and silver mines all by Chinese Co. potash will start exporting soon. One of your commentators should correct his statement or study the subject. The biggest wealth Eritrea has is its people more than anything.

Under NEPAD all African States already have plans to economically integrate. Politically we already have Afrian Union, African Parliament and Human Rights Commission. So just Ethio-Eritrean eco integration is not enough. Economically, we already have IGAD. This manifests how disillusioned the guest is. For the last 2 decades, Eritrea does not share its national information with Bretton woods institutions. Ok commentary except for when you suggested Eritrea might join the Arab league. You couldn’t have been wrong on this one. Eritrea is not an Arab nation, and has no reason to be a part of this rather toothless league. Frankly, I think this comment can have an effect of creating a sort of panic from the Ethiopian elites. First of all, it isn’t in Ethiopia’s interest to be in conflict with Eritrea. Ethiopia has plenty of resources for it to thrive and flourish. Eritrea has every interest in working with Ethiopia before Egypt. So, relax and focus on having internal strength within Ethiopia; it’s most important problem is lack of leadership that’s strong enough to organize the masses in helping them achieve peace and prosperity. Eritreans will always be friends of Ethiopia.

It is fact that a lot of Ethiopians line in the US, but are not in a position where they can influence the outcome of an election. It may be true that in one state, 🇪🇷n and 🇪🇹n diasporas along with other progressive minds may have changed the outcome ( forget which State) As with regard to 🇪🇷, there is a lot of wrong information specially from Dr Asmamaw. First, he mentioned that Eritrea does not have resources. This is false. Eritrea’s main resource is its people inside the country and abroad. Also remember, Eritrea’s landmass is 60 to 70 % full natural resources. Add to that the resources from the Red Sea, it is one of naturally gifted countries in the continent. With regard to the Eritrean population, the information is wrong. Where did he get the facts. Whether we migrate or not, we are Eritrean. Dr. Asmamaw on one hand mentions the diaspora along with the presence of a stable strong government in 🇪🇷 is what helped it withstand the 30 years embargo from the West, but on the other hand he tries to exclude this same diaspora Eritreans from population count.

A strong Eritrean navy is enough to saveguard the peace in tbe horne. Relating with Eritrea to form an Ethiopian naval force is renewed annexation of Eritrea. It is what started the Eritrean independence war. Why can't the Ethiopian elite forget our sea, ports etc. The primary goal for all African nations should be to see inward and educate and unite their people to participate in the destiny of their country.
