Who am I?
A man from the USA trying to travel the world one place at a time, while sharing the journey through my lens. I like traveling to places that are usually not first on most people’s tourism list and showing everyone that these places are worth the journey. Ethiopian people is love and share. That is why we eat together on one plate one feeding other which shows love and sharing. Similarly Ethiopian Christians and muslim coexist very respectifully. When there is muslim celebrations the christians clean the area where muslim celebrate and Muslim clean area where christians are going to celebrate. I love that!

Myer wow I can’t fathom the amount of bravery wallah I would never set a foot in markato , as a spoiled gen z its my worst nightmare I feel like older people have more connection with markato because of their childhood. Like my parents love it (the idea of it) but I rather go to Fresh corner or Japan gebya than there.

A cornucopia of splendid Ethiopians gingerly trekked this large market like bees gather around honey. At the impetus of this broadcast, we were seranaded by a vocalist full of joy, persian rugs, tree tooth brushes, fresh dates....etc. What captured my eye was there was no obesity amongst the citizens. What amazes me in merkato is each individual is surrounded by his/ her thoughts and doesn't mind if you push him or step on his leg, no one says sorry or excuse me. They should've took you to the recycling market area. You get amazed how each thing thrown on the streets are organized and packed.
