What about the engineering foundation calculation of this dam ? Here’s that’s a problem your country won’t to sign any agreement to control the water against Sudan and Egypt as an old idea from long time Ethiopian people believed this water is belong to you only ... plus you said Ethiopia has a right to shear the Nile water with Sudan and Egypt !!! For what ? What’s the reason of that ? And you have more than 950 Billion m3 a year , more than Egypt and Sudan 20 times brother , why your government not using this water ? But the evil idea about old Ethiopian is you own the Nile and won’t this water go to Egypt .... but guess what it will be whatever you guys accept or refused and you will see inshallah sooner not later. I support African-led, localized conflict resolution that is not tied to advancing imperialism, neo-colonialism, or any other nefarious Western agendas. I believe in the inherent agency and ability of Africans on the continent to reach a resolution to the conflict peacefully and independently of Western aggression, destabilization, and extractive and exploitative economic interests.
It is not intelligent answers .all what he says is unlogic. How he makes comparison between Egyptian dam and Ethiopian dam . Egyptian dam is in estuary which will not affect Ethiopia any way but Ethiopian dam will affect Egypt and Sudan by blocking too much water to reach Egypt and Sudan and threaten them at anytime .God is fair he will start with u about the evil and greedy that Ethiopia wants. Second the Ethiopian diplomat said that Egypt and Sudan have many see water to desalinization but Ethiopia doesn’t have see water to salinize . I couldn’t imagine how an Ethiopian diplomat say something unitellegence like that .by logic which is better to have a river to drink or to salinize sea water to drink. Also Ethiopia has 9 rivers and many lakes she has 950 billion square feet of water and beside that she wants to block 75 billion square feet of water from Egypt and Sudan that have only the Nile river. In order to generate maximum amount of electricity u don’t need more than 9 billion square feet of water. At the same time Ethiopia has 11 dams and till now she doesn’t know how to generate electricity from them that means that Ethiopia doesn’t know how to manage its resources. All what Ethiopian minister said is unlogic and unintelligent and unrealistic. He doesn’t know how to speak.also before u try to threaten Egypt and Sudan try to save the 7000 Ethiopian soldiers that were captured by the Tigray army

That was an awesome interview, he stayed in the facts and wasn't swayed by the questions, he's t right... There's enough water and turning the desert back to green would give much more land for farming in the future, thank you for sharing
Egypt without Nile don't exist. 85% of the Nile water comes from Ethiopia. So Egypt has been destabilising Ethiopia with Europeans help throughout history. Now at last the dam self financed by Ethiopians is a reality. What do Europe (West) and America do. Blatantly or behind the scene siding with Egypt. Now Africa knows what poverty allevation means. Its hidden meaning is poverty perpetuation to keep Africa dependent on Western aid. Europe and America prove this wrong. Or the migration of African economy to the east will be accelerated.
I will feel so sorry for you when you make this trip again very soon to cry front of UN when Sudan & Egypt control the dam land and blowup it soon. Good luck with that.

Ethiopia is willing to negotiate. Sudan I don't even think understand what they are talking after watching the press conference. They are spending every bodies time. Ethiopia is contributing the vast majority of the water that gives the country to develop with her own water in her own land with her own people and money.
