Ethiopian Airlines has launched an e-commerce logistics hub in Addis Ababa. The warehouse facility is expected to process 150,000 tonnes of cargo each year. The airline says the facility, constructed by AVIC International company at the cost of $55 million, will enhance e-commerce in Africa and help promote partnerships among airlines plying routes into and out of Ethiopia.

What the heck this cadre is doing here? Ethiopian Airlines has not been interfered with by cadre politicians since the airline was invented, regardless of which government was in power. Just leave the airline alone and let the professionals lead it to keep growing as it has been.

The Chinese just won't let our local producers thrive with this 😢 I love China but this isn't good for Africa, its cheap goods dumped in our countries which wont create that many jobs sadly

One could argue that e-commerce can accelerate the adaptation of new technology and machinery to the vast majority as a result of speeding up production and manufacturing. Ultimately, it will create more jobs and get rid of poverty

I flew them to Athens last year and the food was very terrible! Their customer service on-board is basic!
