Woe is me!- In that I neglected (my duty) towards Allah, and was but among those who mocked أَوْ تَقُولَ لَوْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ هَدَانِي لَكُنتُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ "Or (lest) it should say: 'If only Allah had guided me, I should certainly have been among the righteous Quran .islam**

@@ae6000 this is false. The name Berbers were first used by Bedouin to refer to Somalis and Ethiopians. Around the time when the conquest of Maghreb started the Arabs started to use “Berber” to refer to the people of North-Africa. Amazigh, Coptic and Sudanese.

I like to listen to Ethiopian music since I was young in late 70s, and realized when I came to Melbourne the music I loved it Amharic music. I extended my thanks to all Amharic singers especially Gonder music

I may not understand Amharic, but I learned to dance a little bit because it appears my great, great, great, great grandmother, mother to my great, great, great grandfather Joseph, is an Ethiopian Jew who immigrated from Ethiopia towards what is now South Sudan (was called the land of Kush or Cush like in the Holy bible old testiment). I am from India and I worked in Addis and Bahirdar and travelled across Ethiopia 3500 kms by road. Had a lovely time in 2016. Amazing and unique music.

I love Ethiopian food and culture and music a ton! Ethiopian women are some of the most beautiful women in the world and when I have been to Ethiopian restaurants and events I have been told in a loving playful way that I as an Indian can pass for an Ethiopian totally and how we Indians and Ethiopians blend well together looks wise even from different continents lol
