I lived in Trinidad and Tobago until early 2001.No idea the Church even had a parish there.I don't know if I would've joined the church when I was living here, but my young, curious schoolboy self would've definitely visited.How in the world did they keep quiet about its existence in the Republic?

no we are not. we are from the island Trinidad which is located in the west indies just as Jamaica. yes there are alot of people who maybe of the rastafarian movement in our country or who may wear the dreadlocks as a style. however, the people who you see in this clip and members on the whole who belong to the church, are ethiopian orthodox christians. this is our faith, this is our religion. the church left ethiopia and landed in trinidad in 1952. so whether there are members who have dreadlocks or not, we all belong to the ethiopian orthodox church. WE ARE NOT JAMAICANS.

If you say "It left Ethiopia" then you are saying that us Ethiopians (I am Ethiopian) lost our religion. But I am happy to see our Church in Trinidad and Tobago.
