Mulatu Astatke, one of the most influential and legendary musicians from Ethiopia, and his Ethiopian Quintet came up with the two volumes of the Afro-Latin Soul album in the same year, 1966.
The sound of this second volume is still fresh nowadays and the mix of genres this album showcases has never been so fresh.
The blend of Ethiopian traditional music and Latin-jazz (more specifically Afro-Cuban Jazz) won't leave you indifferent. This album is a real testimony to the historical link between African and Latin music. To be enjoyed without moderation my friends!
