Hate is probably too strong a word. I would say there is a definite ignorance in the hindi belt towards north east and south. And with my experience of having lived in the south, there is certainly a dislike towards people of the north (among some people). Although most of the people are friendly in both regions, it’s the assholes which sadly drive the emotional responses. I have been asked to leave bars, not being able to get a house and termed as an uncivilised brash individual just because i was from north. But none of this dilutes my love for the south. Beautiful people, gorgeous places, amazing food and how the south has been able to retain their culture is commendable

Instead of being proud of how great and diverse our country is, how many wonderful artistic creations are being produced from all over and celebrating it together people are busy dissing and being derogatory!! I'm from South, Tamilnadu. North ppl must understand that it is becoming Indian cinema now, south actors r acting in North movies and North actors r acting in South movies. There r North fans for South actors and vice versa. So i would appreciate if those who try to divide India, stop doing it and think as a nation. I mean please grow up.

Guys we south Indians know that north ppl don't like us all that much who ever that guy texted you to not react to south content are the typical PPL living there also their literacy rate is really low so dont really take the northies seriously.
I am a South Indian and a Dhanush fan. Obviously whoever asking you to react to more North stuffs are asking you that because they like your reactions. Instead of saying if you don't like it then leave, you could just told we are reacting both, watch what you like and ignore what you don't like. Indians are very crazy people, they will shower you with love, but when they feel they are disrespected they take it very personal. You don't want bunch of people spreading hate messages in all the social media platforms, especially when they cut certain portion of the video clip and spread it, most won't get the context and join the hate campaign. Just my 2 cents, as you said, take it or leave it 😅
