I also think that the national symbols is ok because its a state built for the purpose of self-determination of the Jewish people. Its like, I now live in England, and the national anthem here is about the queen, and I don't like the queen or feel connected to any significance about the royal family at all, but its ok for me to have this national anthem - I feel I'm treated as an equal by people here, but I recognize the queen is important culturally for them as its a country for English self-determination/independence. Just like "nefesh yehudi tzofiya" in Israel. But at the same time as Israel being 'a state for the Jewish people', part of zionist philosophy is full equal rights to all citizens, Jews & not Jews. So I'd want more integration in schools, learning about each other's cultures more, I'd want more equality-based government funding for both Israeli minorities and Jews who live in poverty areas. I want all schools to teach Arabic as a compulsory 2nd language (biggest minority), and all schools to offer to teach Circassian, Aramaic, Armenian, and also other Jewish languages that are dying out like Ladino, Yiddish, Juhuri, Judeo-Arabic etc. I want a public independent review to annually assess the standard of living for all minorities, like for family income/expenses, education, happiness etc., and if equality standards aren't met then for government to act on this, as a compulsory legislation. Anyway that aside, do you feel that you're treated as an equal by Israeli Jews?

Yes, some still live in morocco. Most north african poeple are a mix of arab/berber but lost the berber identity and language. I'm from a berber family in Libya. North African culture (from tripoli and to the west) is mostly berber anyway (food, customs etc.) and islamic arab and ottoman culture filled in the rest. Most of these people in the video have some berber ethnic mix I'm certain.

If you watch these videos carefully, you will notice the majority of them are descendants of mixed marriages of some different background communities.

Only the oldest people may feel that way, but most of the people of Israel feel identified as part of the jew meal pot, you can notice from all the interviews. That's is the reason of the great success of Israel as a country, it's diversity inside a common and share jew culture. You can see that most of the youngest people are mixed from diferent etnicities, that's erasing the old divisions, that will make Israel a more diverse but unified country !!!
