Having been given a stage name at birth, our guest Elie Antoun Si-bemol Younes grew up to become one of the very few ethnomusicologists in Lebanon. He joined our hosts Lynn and Joe on this special episode to briefly explain to you what ethnomusicology is, and tell you more about the under-explored topic of his M.Astudy, and why Turkish, Pakistani, and Brazilian music cultures are of his favorites.
