A more detailed understanding of the aviation industry demonstrates that without the high prices for luxury seats, the airlines would be unable to stay in business, let alone make a decent profit and remain stable. Everyone in economy barely pay for the over head it costs for their flight. As unfair as it may seem comparing these seats , remember that those expensive seats are what make an affordable flight possible.

@@evansahlstrom2602 I agree that the expensive seats help to subsidize the cheap ones. The fact that there are enough people/corporations willing and able to pay for them says something about the structure of today's society.

Which doesn't always work out. Many places with syrup and not bottles have a button with a programmed amount, so you get the same amount of coke regardless of ice or not.

Sam Chui: i got asked to come fly on a privet Boeing 747 mend for kings and presidents.

Yep, noticed same thing.I recently flew etihad apartment and was told off for fliming. Not pleseant. Seems they only let you film if you are a Sam Chui type or points guy person.

@@nicotuoze the thing is people like Sam or the lads here will most likely ask permission from the company when booking. When granted you can film all you want. (it's not really that hard to get one).

@@nicotuoze it has more to do with other fellow passengers. There can be people on board that absolutely don't want to be filmed for there security. When you request to be allowed to film they will make sure that a person likes that will be at the other side of the airplane or even take a different route.

@@nicotuoze I read what you are saying but I am also trying to look in to the reason. even more if you say it's only at the apartments and residence. it's clear that there is a reason why. I don't know what the only thing is when you are filming (even if you only intend on filming yourself) your camera will also record stuff in the background. in the residence suites high officials also make use of them. if you per accident film them (not even knowing yourself who they are) and post that video online you may film someone that is not to be seen do to safety. The suites are the best for that because when you use those seats you don't see much who is in who unless shown but walking by when one of the door just go open may be enough for someone that does know to use it. when you ask permission those people that are sensitive to been seen will be notified before hand. they will ether fly a other plain or they will make sure that they are never outside there suite when your door is open or you are out.

I've flown with both etihad and Qatar! They're both amazing! I found Qatar service on board to be slightly better, then again Etihad A380 economy seats are more comfortable to sleep on due to the edge on the headrest. All in all I'd choose Etihad!
