It's good to see reviews of products that are in the "affordable" price range and this looks like a very capable projector for its price point. One suggestion: for devices that have relatively low lumens, it might be useful to show some comparisons with a higher lumen unit under various lighting conditions. It'll give people a better idea of what a low lumen device is capable of and whether it's worth considering a higher lumen projector instead.
Good for the $250 on sale now so far it has to be one of the best for features at this lower price point. Thanks for the tip I'm working now on a comparison with an XGIMIVs Nebular 1080p projectors. Another 1080p projector from XGIMI and then I also have some far more expensive 4k projectors up and coming I'm working on. So a lot of projector content.
This projector is having a discount today on all amazon in Europe and I was wondering if it's a good deal as I've never heard of this brand before. And here we are! I'm pleasantly surprised that you have a nice review of it already! Thank you and please keep up the great work - reviewing niche brandname products that offer a great bang for our hardearned bucks!
I got mine today and I am thinking of returning it already or I might give it a week. It is not bright enough. I have Toumei v5 and the only reason why I bought another projector is Toumei v5 is no longer updating. Between the 2 I still love my Toumei v5 more than E3. Contrast on E3 get washed out as you zoom in
I genuinely love these new, modern (and admittedly modest) thumbnails chris. But for the sake of your channel i think you'd be better off edited the projector to make it blasting a beam of super light, with you having shocked face towards it 😂 you know what i mean haha. I'm conflicted as a fan
Thanks yes I could have had the stupid shocked face clickbait and a light blasting out of the projector 😂 So far it's a mixed back many prefer my old thumbs with the product shots and others prefer these. It's just a test to see if it's worth the effort and gets more views or not.
No plans to. YT forces us to do this crap and the people that click too I guess. Plain product shot 3% CTR. Myself in the image clickbait crap thumb 9%+ CTR
Okay. I can't I tried my best I thought I'll give myself a week and see if I like it. I can get over the darkness and lack of contrast and there is no way to adjust it. So after two days I am returning it.
Yes the larger the image you decide to project the low the quality and sharpness. Really for projecting at 150" I would want a 4k projector. It's like image a 1080p TV at 65" Vs 21"
I was looking at thos exact one on amazon and it's saying it's 1000 ANSI lumens. 😂😂😂. I was considering buying it as my current one is only 600. I don't believe what's advertised now on amazon 😂
I tried this and returned. I do not know if quality in Europe is lower, but the colors were not good and I could see ghost (on characters etc.). Was not really value to have it at home.
@Techtablets much appreciated! for what it's worth, I follow your reviews religiously. you're one of the very few on youtube that can still be trusted. keep up the great work.
My projector stopped working out of no where. I can see and move around through setting but once I press the home button the entire screen goes green and blank.
Very odd issue it's as if the Android TV part failed, maybe it's loose inside it? Either way I would get in touch with your seller and get a replacement.
Power or lamp save feature? It only happens when you stop using it? If it does it during a movie that's not right. Get onto support for a repair or replacement unit.
I bought this projector and sadly my unit gone faulty after only two days. The built quality is absolutely horrible. Just NEVER buy this. It was shipped for me internationally too, so I'm not able to return it at all and my $330 got wasted.
I agree that projectors work best in the dark but this projector is dark even in the dark and there is no option to adjust brightness. I returned mine after a day.
@@Pit8800 not had a chance yet, in the middle of moving house, all my stuff is locked away. I did set it up quickly and used a slightly patterned wall just to make sure it worked. It looked really good at around 90-100 inches. Can't wait to test it properly. May up grade from my 80 to 100-120
