I started an etsy Shop last year and a lot of your tips have worked. I only have 3-4 listings and I've had like 10 sales. I've been too lazy to put up more listing (bad, I know) and other life events got in the way, but I think that's an interesting result.

I am not a beginner. I started an Etsy store couple of months back and listed around 12 to 14 printable arts and there is no even single sale till now. So I lost my motivation on the store. Hi Jane! GREAT question and I might actually create a whole video on that so thank you! A few ways - I use commercial license graphics so when I shop for these, it sparks ideas automatically. I also like to look at best sellers on multiple platforms to get inspiration on what to create with my brand and aesthetic. I hope that helps for now! :)

I would love to ask your opinion about a specific "issue": I have an item available in 5 colours. For a new store, do you think it’s better having one listing with all the colours variations, or one listing for each colour? I heard contrasting info about this. Some say that one listing with all colours helps because all sales will be for the same item, others say that separate listings will help visibility and SEO, will help with the number of listings, and will make the store look more “full”, especially at the beginning. What do you think?

Hi! Great question! And both points are valid on both sides. I would keep it the way you have it currently but what I would do is duplicate the listing you have and just change the thumbnail photo and some keywords. I did this with some of my listings in the beginning to get more visibility but also to do A/B testing - seeing which thumbnail and keywords perform better. I hope that helps!

Hi Sandra, thanks so much for all your great videos that are packed with content, I love watching them and taking notes. The thing i am having a problem with however is that I say to myself...ok I will do such and such and then I realise that I haven't gor or done the task required previous to that! I feel like I take a step forward and then 2 back, this makes me feel so confused. I would love to know in which order I should do everything please? Hi Sandra, thanks a lot for all the content it's super helpful. After doing a lot of research and created by digital products I launched my new shop yesterday only to find it suspended after a couple of hours for no reason... no email from Etsy, nothing yet from the support team. After researching this issue online it looks like Etsy is doing this a LOT lately with new shops so it's really not motivating to put all the work for the platform to be so bad with sellers :( Have you ever had that issue?

Hi Laura! I have never had this issue but I have heard it from many other sellers. They suspend shops that sell any copyright products. Otherwise, it's an error on their end and the only way to get it back is by contacting them directly. Sorry! I know it can be annoying

So I watched one of your videos on saving the digital art on Canva for Etsy and noticed you used PDF for printing and CMYK option . I see my most people using JPG 300dpi so when I went to save under JPG quality goes to 100? Is that 100 dpi or is the 100 on Canva mean it saves at 300dpi? I want to know before I start uploading all of this work I have been doing if maybe I should use a PDF to JPG converter or do not need to hopefully? I am a bit confused about sizing. I create png designs but want to add wall art to my shop and feeling overwhelmed about sizing.(Overthinking it maybe) What is the ratio size for? Is it how the customer would frame it or the actual size of the picture? Help, I don't want to create sizes that are not useful.

Hi! There are no rules to which sizes to create :) I always recommend doing research on your competitors to see what they're offering! If they only offer 2-3 sizes, maybe that's a good option for you!

Hi! I don't have a video on this yet but technically Etsy does not need a business license to actually open a shop. I'm not a lawyer so I don't give advice on this - you could technically open it and just see how you like it and then get a business license. I always recommend getting a business license if you know you are starting a business in general (not just on Etsy). Hope that helps a little :)

Hi Maria! I don't think they are allowed to be honest lol especially Disney. Most shops get shut down if they are using trademark characters

Question for other's who have started a shop - what/how do you get people to even see your shop or listings? I started my shop almost a week ago and have been posting multiple art products a day (and think they look super cute too!) but so far I haven't gotten even have a single view/visit. If I search etsy for the exact name and use keywords I know I used I don't find my own listings until about 10 pages in. Does anyone have any advice on how to get listings to move up or how to even get any views on products at all?

I just found your channel, and all the videos so far have been super helpful! Thanks so much. If you're available, quick question for you regarding the sizes. In Canva, do you know if it matters on what size canvas you start designing on? For example, I started on 16x20. Do you think it's smarter to start with a larger canvas size like 24x36, then resize to smaller sizes? I created something on a 16x20 and when I changed to 24x36 it looked a bit different. However, when I resized it to smalled sizes, the smaller sizes looked similar. Hope that makes sense.

I started an Etsy store last week (03.01.) by selling digital downloads. I have 14 listings. To this day I have 41 visits, 113 total views and 0 sales. Are these good numbers to begin with? Give me hope 😅🙈

I was trying to open an etsy shop and I couldn't turn on the two-factor authentication and it didn't work, so I can't create my own etsy shop. From your advice I attempted to make my first etsy shop. I was so excited but each time I attempted to make a store my account was suspended. I haven't received any email from etsy as to why it was suspended either time. Just the orange bar above my shop. I'm really discouraged as I have put a lot of energy, time, and even some money to learn what I needed to do to create an etsy shop. Do you have any advice? Has anyone else had this issue ?

Hi! I'm so sorry this happened to you and I have heard this happening to some people yes. It is either a glitch or shops are suspended for selling copyright products. If it is a glitch, I would recommend contacting Etsy support and it usually takes a few days for them to respond. In the meantime, there are other options to sell digital products :) I am coming out with a video tomorrow on 20 digital product ideas to sell and they are not just for Etsy. Hope that will help you!
