@@TheAnalogAria And it‘s easy to see - or hear! - why! ⭐️ I, too, like him a lot. ♥️ I have a „top ten favourites“ list of tenors; if I had one for baritones as well, chances are that he would be on it! ✨ Perhaps I should try and make one… 🤔

@@hrbooksmusic7878 oh not at all! I've never bothered to make a list, but here we go! In no particular order: Baritones: - Ettore Bastianini - Titta Ruffo - Tito Gobbi - Giuseppe Taddei - Piero Cappuccilli - Gino Bechi - Mattia Battistini - Aldo Protti - Silvano Carrolli - Renato Bruson (especially in Tosti!!) Otherwise I enjoy Mario Sereni, Victor Maurel, Giangiacomo Guelfi, all the greats. It would be impossible for me to make a list for tenors! Being a tenor myself I always make sure to listen to many different singers for inspiration, and now my brain is simply clogged with too many names in too many fachs! How about you? What would your list look like?
