I was absolutely shocked when I experienced year that Malina had sadly passed away in 2011. This song was absolutely one of my favourites in an already good ESC year 1998. I listen to this song when I feel melancholic… thank you Malina, for your wonderful song and voice… RIP ❤

A great great song, it's disappointing that it received a poor result, this song deserved more. The english version is one of my favourites among the 90's.

In the first few seconds the presenter introduces the conductor as "Romcescu, this gentleman with the magnificent haircut".

Some of the backup jury points were released and Romania would have gotten a lot more points... I know they thought it was new and exciting to do 100% televote at that time but songs like this make me wish they did 50/50 right from the beginning Rest easy Malina x

Over the years this song has become one of my all time faves, but sadly I had barely noticed it during the show. Partially because of its visual indifference (for some reason, so many short hair brunettes that night) also, freedom of language would have resulted in a much different scoreboard in 1998.

Don't care that much about the song. But oh, what a jib shot! Pure genius!

I think that the one of problems was when showing the brief part of every song before the voting. This beautiful song is the only song which its brief part did not contain chorus.

Love this song. Love all of this performance except this detail ''Why doesn't the dress it the floor?'' I get it it's the 90's but it would make her look like a real queen.
