Mangrove conservation through reforestation in Indonesia is one of the keys to decelerate the global climate change. This is due to the extreme urgency in achieving global net-zero by reducing and offsetting carbon emissions.
Mangroves can store up to 10 times carbon emissions better than trees on the land. And Indonesia, despite having 23% of the world's mangrove population, is loosing mangrove forest as big as the area of New York!
