Wow, a 1.35 game where Russia actually formed. Now that's a rarity right there. Edit: For the benefit of everyone replying, every game I've played, Sweden and the Ottomans keep expanding like mad and carving up Muscovy between them. The Ottomans in general have been following a trend of just going out over the steppes consistently.
Thoughts on adding the opening move of no CB Byz in order to puppet them to this strat? You would later feed them ottoman provinces in Europe and maybe across the Anatolian coast line. Then going back to focus on expanding in Western Europe? Feel like this would be a good way to cripple the Ottomans so they’re not such a menace later
If you are a nation that has the ability to do so you should do it every single time if your planning on expanding into that region at some point. Also helps spread ae out while continuing to conquer as your targeting a different group
Ok, buddy, that' enough. I challenge you to an OPM WC now, as Dithmarschen, while stacking Admin Efficiency to 85 or 90 by tag switching mid game. I'm sure you can do it and know all required tags)))
@@TheJaydawarlord Dithmarschen, Sardinia-Piedmont, Prussia and Germany all have +5% admin efficiency missions. So do the German ideas and so does the Alhambra. So there is your 90%😁
@@TheJaydawarlord9:32, cherkasy, it's not a proper tag, it's a faction coup tag from a faction disaster like the jannisaries or the dhimmi blowing up, nation name is the capital province and the flag is randomized. it looks like it came from plc so it's probably a jannisary coup. also, the national ideas are fully randomized, and you can play as them if it happens to you.
I sometimes think the bigger nation get balanced on vanilla and then the missuon tree added as incentive to buy the DLC. French is a strong nation, but without the mission tree from DLCs and other stuff like traders building up community to lower the AE effect...it just is tough as french. Everthibg into the HRE is an AE massacre even when dismantling it because the nations ar eso close together. So your bestexmpanions looks you can aim for in 1650 as vanilla player is probably GB, Northafrica and Ottomans, mameluks and GB. If you start pushing into neverlands and HRE your basically permanently on high AE so I'd rather get the muslim Mediterranean get strong af and then try to royal marriage Polish Lithuanania, Spain denmark and beat the HRE from every side...though thats tedious and then you basically haven't access to the whole newer world which would be the other option going for whole western europe and the new world...but anything beyond that in vanilla is kind of...well not possible unless your optimizing and doing 48hrs+ run
Francia eh mais para o Crusader Kings, o maximo quer dar eh se transformar em um Imperio quando se tem 1000 pontos de desenvolvimento mas aew se aplica a qualquer pais/tag do jogo
@@TheJaydawarlord Ah! my mistake. I saw an diplo action only available to the these french vassals and forgot that one of them has basicly the same flag as aragon.
@@TheJaydawarlord Its enough that i >rarely< play Poland, for patriotic reasons. Starting with 30k troops and ridiculously overpowered NIs simply isnt fun. What i do find fun is the underdogs. Oman, due to its starting position next to first Mamluks, and later on Ottos. Or Nepal, for similar reasons (Jaunpur, Bengal, Delhi and whoever emerges victorious in the south). Hell, ive even fairly recently did the Sunset Invasion challenge. Unfortunately i wasnt able to force convert everyone to Nahuatl (honestly, PDX disabled the "Global Crusade" government upgrade for pagans. SAD). Playing babby nations is great for beginners. I was dying of boredom in my Otto game. Never again.
@@LiezAllLiez I agree that it is super easy to play with them. The thing with France why I like to play it (even tough it arguably is one of the top 3 strongest nations at the sart of the game), is that you can start waging as many wars as you want from day one basically. You can challenge yourself with how many civs you simultaneasly attack. But playing with opms and becoming the strongest is definetly more challenging.
Fun fact: Colonial Nation just like vassals switch to you if you fully annex their overlord. The few times I tried WC I could not be bothered to go to america and decided to do it that way.
Sometimes their overlords have some small islands in the Indian and Pacific ocean that i cant reach cuz i didnt invest in Exploration ideas so focusing on defeating the colonial masters like in Empire TW is not 100% valid for me lol
