Medri starts out Coptic. Spread the faith to the Holy Roman Empire by force converting someone to Coptic, then winning the League War on whatever side more Coptic nations are fighting on.
Medri Bahri existed mostly in the lands of the ancient empire of Axum, one of the first Christian countries in the world. So it's time to teach those Papists a lesson and restore the Pentarchy. Or just make the Papal States not exist if you chicken out. :P
I love the reaction when you missclicked and choose to keep mazovian traditions. First moment it was pure shock then you realised you finished the run anyway. Great video as always! :D
Medri Bahri means “land of the sea,” and the ruler of Medri Bahri was called the Bahr Negash, which in English means “ruler of the sea.” So, as Medri Bahri, conquer all land around the Red Sea and build the largest navy you can to truly be the ruler of the sea.
Mazovia is the true way to form and play as Poland, with the Piast dynasty. Historically the two dynasties that reigned the longest in Poland were the Piasts from 966 (and even earlier but that's when the documented history begins) to 1370 and the Jagiellons from 1386 to 1572. The game did the Jagiellons dirty by cutting their dynasty over 100 years earlier and introducing the elective monarchy too soon. So playing as elective monarchy in Poland in the 15th and most of the 16th century makes no sense. Returning to the Piast is the way to go.
@6:00 can you release a vassal as a vassal? I don't think so, so not sure if you could have released Galicia-Volhynia before you declared the independence war on Poland.
Yeah, I agree, I don't think this is possible. Vassals can have CNs, but I don't think they can have any other type of subject. (Except perhaps tributaries? But Mazovia is in the wrong part of the world for that.)
Hey Buddy, yesterday i saw you competing against faith, i just wanna tell that i think that you were the winner in this match. i find it kind of unfair of the hosts to change the rules so in the end you lost. but i want you to know, dozends of people in the chat and (again) me, saw and see you as the true winner of the duell. love your content, keep your style! wish you the very best!
Why always the unstating to culture shift? It was really close, you were at like 40%, could have converted 1-2 provinces and devved the north for probably cheaper? Probably comes out cheaper than wasting the admin on recoring lesser Poland?
If this was a real game, my only suggestion (other than fixing that misclick at the end) would be to vassalise an elector and steal their vote before switching to Protestant. You were already allied to Austria, so getting them to 200 opinion should have been easy.
Hawk, are any guides in the indonesian arcipelago/malaccan peninsula or in India on the list? I really want to play there and I'm completely dependent on you
Start as Mazovia, gain independence from Poland, form Poland, release Mazovia, play as Mazovia, gain independence from Poland, form Pol... EDIT: the only reason to play as Mazovia, or one of the other Polish minors, is to retain the legendary Piast dynasty. That is, literally, the only reason.
I think that's impossible, since forming Poland as Mazovia would remove the Mazovian cores. Perhaps you could engineer it with unicorn rebels gaining cores again.
