Here it is, the second installment in this little series of mine. This one was quite a bit more challenging than the last one, I'd say!

BTW, if you saved the Byzantine empire decision until you took all of your land, the decision allows you to instantly core both Greek & Turkish majority provinces that you currently owned into the BYZ tag. If you stayed as Greece until the very end, you'd core all of anatolia when you tag switched to BYZ.

@@valentinocozzi Maybe some day! Although many EU4 achievements require you to core provinces, and most countries don't have special decisions that let's them core a lot of territory like that, so in general I might not bother to core stuff anyway when doing these challenges :)

Using Punjab manpower is a big brain strat that makes Greece starts a lot more consistent. Normally in my mp games Greece players chase after West African manpower and have to risk losing a lot of ships along the way

Hmm... Was thinking about a Cyprus (accepts Greek and Turkish) campaign & The Ionian Islands Greece gives me an idea - 1) form Byzantium, 2) trap army 3) release Cyprus, 3) liberate>conquest Greece 4) have big Cyprus w/ lots of accepted pops

Hey! I took a break from making videos because I had gotten a bit burned out by it, and also because I got a full time job which didn't leave me with much time or energy for making videos. However, lately I've reduced my number of work hours down to 80% of full time, which makes a significant difference in my overall energy level. So it's quite likely I'll upload some more videos in the near future :)

I don't get it. All you had to do left was to chill, and continue a peaceful playthrough/afk until 1936. According to my experience you should get all the cores. If not - well, shit happens. It would be still nice to see the "final result" since all the hard work was already done. Great video, but ending is missing IMO :(

Tbh it's statistically improbable I would've gotten all the cores before the end. The event has a base MTTH of 180 months, i.e 15 years, per province, which with modifiers might be lowered by a couple of years more, but at best probably around 10 years or so. But that's only if they have a majority of accepted cultures or if they border an existing core, which is a problem particularly with the provinces in the east. Either way, I'm doing this for fun and it wouldn't be fun for me to wait for cores while doing nothing, so that's why I'm skipping it. I'm sorry to disappoint you.

@@xarxos5274 Welp, I thought decision adds Turkish as accepted culture, but I was wrong. BUT "Upon taking this decision all non-colonial states held by Greece (now Byzantium) that have Greek or Turkish culture will be instantly cored, along with prestige and -10 infamy." Doesn't it mean, that it was easier to conquer all required land, and then take the decision?

@@BrunerBear Yes, you're right, someone else pointed that out too. I'll admit it was just a complete oversight on my part; if I had thought of it during the run I certainly could've done that! But, overall, plenty of EU4 achievements require cores and most countries don't have easy ways to obtain cores like this, so if I end up doing more then I might still not be too keen on waiting to core everything anyway.
