In my games Ming either digs the hell in or takes over everything east of Persia. Not entirely sure how, could be importing CK2 saves affecting their tech level or something.
zomb ies Think about it literally. When something explodes, it shockwaves outwards really fast, and then goes away. Think of ming as a bomb. When it explodes, all of its fractures and fragments become new nations and the explosion fading out references the country is no longer existing. (Eventually)
I dont know if its intentional or not, but I love how those three charge bravely when the horde rolls a 1, but start running back when they roll a 9... the small details, dude...
In this one, the joke is that if you play as steppe nomad faction such as the Mongols seen in the background (The leader is technically not a steppe nomad faction as the Manchu faction is a khanate with Confucianism as state religion so Ming times 10 if you can get to that point) you are heavily reliant on your superior cavalry and shock modifiers to win battles. It is very handy on flat plains and works okay on hills BUT if you try to attack an enemy army (Such as one from the Ming and/or Korea) in mountainous terrain.... Well, the video shows what happens. Just don't try that if you get EU4.
I've been watching these for a while now, and I have to say you make by far the best ones! I subscribed and I'll be watching your old Rome II let's plays now, looking forward to new vids!
Well, for historical accuracy, the Manchurians are not nomadic but hunters + farmers combined. They defeated Ming with heavy armor troopers, but not cavalry.
