In this video titled EU4 - What if ITALIAN REGIONS Were UNITED in 1444? we take a look at what would happen if Italia Regions were united in 1444 / what if Italian formable nations existed at the start of EU4. In this video I created all the Italian regional nations such as, Sardinia Piedmont, Sicily, Tuscany, Milan, Naples, Dalmatia, Genoa, Venice and others. As you can probably guess this scenario resulted in some pretty funny shenanigans. Obviously you would expect that The Italian Nations would dominate, but did it really turn out that way? This whole run was controlled by the AI only without my interference and it yielded some pretty interesting results to be honest. So, after watching this video you will know what would happen if Italian Regions were united in 1444. What is the next "What if" scenario that I should do? Leave a comment below! There are more Nobility privileges giving LD reduction now, so they're less likely to have all their vassals be disloyal even after Shah Ruhk dies.

@@DylanSargesson i don't think there are any new estate privileges that do that, at least not that i've seen. perhaps the ai knows to take strong duchies now and maybe that saves them a little bit, but i think its overall due to the ai improvements that the timurids are doing better. there is a new nobility estate privilege that decreases diplo annex cost but that increases LD, but no new one that decreases liberty desire. correct me if i'm wrong tho

Try... Aquileia > Rome (Aquileia is a Venetian releasable. I chose it because it's name is close to the Latin word "Aquila", meaning "Eagle", which I thought would be very fitting for this scenario)

It seems like old countries keeping their cores caused a lot of interference on this one. Sardinia was split to its regular 1444 owners of Genoa and Aragon. Venice quickly retook its two cores in Milan. I think there were even more but I've forgotten them.

Have you looked at Sicilian ideas? They're absolutely OP with buffs on army morale, tech discounts, national manpower modifiers, goods produced modifiers and so on

That's a scary Russian empire if you think about it, half of italy, Balkans, and Western Anatolia and all of the Rus lands and Siberia... history is gonna be real wild if this empire actually lasts for another 100 years. Not too surprised. Two Sicilies' NIs are really strong. That nation has always done pretty well in my games, whenever they pop up (which is rather often). The Russian ending was a bummer, though!

I already checked this video! just like napoles' one, which is absurd, I followed all the tips I didn't think it was possible to get so strong and so fast with napoles, but do they still work in the origins? I haven't played EU4 origins yet not much of the mechanic changes.

5th vid of asking for You should do a “What if Islam never took off as a caliphate” and have it so most of Arabia is under an Islam state, but Persia is zoroastrian and still strong, Anatolia is divided up between the Sultanate of Rum, Byzantium, and a few other minors, and that Byzantium still owns greece, Macedonia and Bulgaria, but Egypt is still under islam but in a seperate country from the Caliphate. And also the Levant should have a Cristian Israel and Lebanon, but has a few Turkic ( north and northeast) and islamic (south and southeast) kingdoms surrounding them. One more thing is that the Steppe regions should still be like a tengri faith from the mongols. I think it would be a cool game.

I feel like Corsica should be with Tuscany, or maybe alone, but not with Sardinia. I mean, their language is a Tuscan dialect (if I'm not mistaken), it would make more sense, nice video btw.

Really should have removed the cores other nations had. Aragon and Genoa had instant reconquest CBs on Corsica and malta (and for some reason, Mali had one on Malta as well?) and Venice had cores on Dalmatia.

@@TheRedHawk Actually this is not that hard. Its a basic world conquest. I moved all the movable Monuments to Constantinople in my last Spain WC playtrough where i moved my captial there.
