Thanks for this. I planted a "miniature" blue gum in San Diego County 30 years ago and am finally having it cleaned up tomorrow. My tree is massive and can be seen for several miles.

I heard that the leaves have alot of selenium in them which can be brewed in a tea.

Can this tree be planted near septic tanks or leach lines? I would like to plant two in the back corners of my backyard but one side is near the septic system.
