Eucharistic Congress, Failure? 

1. Encourage confession to be in a state of grace for Eucharist. 2. Stop letting laity handle/administer the Eucharist. 3. Accepting it on the tongue and on your knees if able. It’s the body of Christ but the Church doesn’t treat it like it is.

The Eucharistic Congress was awesome. It's success will depend on how every Catholic responds individually. May the people of God love Him and receive Him in that light, all will be well. God is in charge of His church. He will not fail.

Eucharistic renewal was very great. The libral catholics may say failure. I experienced great energy and devotion and discipline and sacrifice,

Lifelong Protestant turned by God to the Mass at age 55. It's a work of God.

I go to early Daily Mass as my sacrifice to Our Lord first and foremost. It is the best way to start each day.... grateful and humble that Our Lord gives me life each day even when I deserve nothing.... frankly I deserve Hell to be honest but His Mercy has been and continues to be most humbling to me. Adoration is wonderful too.... I'm trying to make it more of a weekly visit as I truly want to give Our Lord His due for all I received....and staying close to Jesus does something miraculous....He truly softens your heart to allow you to more quickly forgive others, extend mercy to others and offer that love of neighbor so much more naturally which I could not do on my own....the peace you receive is something more precious than any material thing in this world....

You can have all the Congresses and Parades and Staements in Letters from Bishops you want about the Eucharist - BUT - if the Local Pastors Don't teach the Parishioners how to Respect the Presence of God not just during the moment of consecration and during communion (Which seems to be the only focus where ever I go) but to behave in the pews before and after mass - then you have not done much. And the ordinary parishioner can't say anything because if we do we are outside our minds being judgemental etc.... PASTORS NEED TO TEACH PARISHIONERS HOW TO BEHAVE IN CHURCH ALL THE TIME !!!

Powerful homily sharing with others, powerful message. I am an attendee to Holy Daily Mass, a lector everyday, have being since 2020, church never close for me durning covid, holy Mass was recorded while I read the readings. Ever since I’ve been reading and attending Holy Mass daily, I go to Sundays Mass as well of course, but for some reason I get so much more at daily Masses, maybe because I read. If only people knew what daily Mass does. I am blessed to be able to go daily, I also pick up 3 people that are unable to drive. I LOVE YOU LORD MIGHTY GOD. Father Geraci- I know and have never doubted in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. BUT my parish for Holy Communion - it’s “in the hand” - If the priest doesn’t show reverence, how can we expect parishioners to? I so love The Father’s of Mercy. I’ve adopted you all🙏💙

Amen Father, each step, each heart reached, each soul. is a step to salvation. In todays expectation of instant gratification . people miss that it is a motion and building and a gaining, not just some switch to be thrown and everyone outside the Church instantly gets it. Its a constant light we need to keep shining.

We need our church Fathers to truly be good fathers more than ever. Not to be afraid to correct us, and to stand in the Law of our God. Yes to always love first, but to also never shy away from correction. Secondly we need our church Fathers to feed us, to actually teach, and not just give us happy feelings in the homily and to catechize with the fire of the Holy Spirit. "Father in heaven we pray that you bless your church, your bride. Bring us all closer to you, and allow us to be the men and women you want us to be. Let us stay close to you and not leave your side, but if we do wander, convict and console our hearts, and may we run back to you. I pray this in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen."

I would suggest that Catholics learn the changes to the rubrics of the Mass after Vatican II. The new Mass is negligent is many ways that contribute to the loss of faith in the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of our Lords Holy Sacrifice. I would go to daily Mass if it grows in the Traditional Latin Mass.

I know I am speaking to the "choir" but...after 20 years in the evangelical wilderness, the Holy Spirit brought me back to the Catholic Church, for which I am eternally grateful! My mission now is to get the Church I attend to put out kneelers for those of us who wish to kneel to receive our Lord......AND.....on the tongue. Who would, if they believe that the Priest is persona in Christi, would EVER receive the Holy Eucharist from ANYONE who is not a Priest...from the consecrated hands of the ONE person representing Christ at the Holy Mass. So, far he has declined to use kneelers "citing" a directive from the Archdiocese...he's a wonderful Priest under a lot of pressure as are so many Priests...agree with @bettybella.....Pray for our Priests, pray for more young men to be called to the Priesthood and to respond to that calling.

There was no visibility of this in our diocese, hardly a word about it. Wasn’t a supporter of it anyways. I attend the TLM and feel that reverence for receiving God in the state of grace is key. 🙏🏼❤️‍🩹🙏🏼

Bishops make Orders. all Churches must open Perpetual Adoration or at least 4- 8 Adoration Daily Confession Available before Mass. Kneelers. Remind People must kneel to receive Jesus in Communion.... if they Believed in The Real Presence.... not need to expend money. Preach Daily tell people don't receive Communion if they don't believe....

I always believe that the Eucharist is the body blood soul and divine of Jesus Christ. However when I seen on line a microscope image of the Eucharist after it is consecrated and it shows very clearly the four chambers of the heart. It really sent it home to me. So I have been telling everyone about it. Even my 94 year old mother who is a cradle Catholic was shocked and very happy to see it.

Each one of us has to come to Jesus Christ of our own volition

Until communion on the hand is abolished........this will continue. Get rid of communion on the hand and bring back communion rails and receiving it on the toung.

They should ask statistically how many believe in the true presence that attend the NO and how many in the TLM. I bet the numbers are very different.

I don't always express my feelings here, but a long time ago I dreamed of a book, I wake up one day. I am face to face with the one I love who hurt me, and even today I will always love this person. I come to learn more as we talk, I meet her again, I introduce myself again, I let her know how much she has hurt me in life, I cried and explained to her how I would never let anything hurt her because I am like a watchdog, I suppose, a protector is how I am, I am built differently in a certain way that we get into the subject, I let her know that I am a fighter and for me personally it doesn't even hurt. Because I built it that way, I guess, and I used to have butterflies in my stomach, but one day those butterflies came out of my stomach one day and never came back. So no, I don't have butterflies in my stomach when I face a fight, I can feel how they feel, I can look them directly in the eyes and they will know that if I am angry, I have reached an agreement that fighting is not good, although because someone always gets hurt, in addition to the fact that we can get into trouble, now it is against the rules after the age of 18, then no Longer children. It's like the Ten Commandments that we learned and memorized and learned what they meant, but he never said not to fight, so that's where I entered... but now that I'm older, I'm saying no, don't fight and don't be so bad, that's why you see all this hatred and fights and murders happening in life. Because some are not taught not to kill, but to fight, anyway, words, although words hurt like "ouch", the things you tell me hurt a lot. I think words hurt more than fighting and not every day I have the opportunity to sit in a room with someone who hurts me and is mean to me for not reacting and fighting with you... I just can't do something a few minutes ago I was holding my hand like cement on the floor... (I couldn't move my hand and I wanted to hurt you so much) this is a little new to me, so naked with me because I don't know what's going on here and it's not very common for me to be given the opportunity to sit in a room with someone who hurt me and express the things you do to me to hurt me. Because sometimes you make me feel like shit and it hurts... sometimes saying bad things for me makes me want to die, but it's quite difficult... You know that you can treat someone so badly and they may already be in their ingenuity living in hell, but we are alive... so don't be bad and don't be a judge. Nobody gave you that title to be a judge in life, but I have to say that you can be quite vicious, I can also understand why. I should have come from your father's side because that guy can be quite crazy and I know, I've seen that there's something here that bothers me in this life. I really hate liars, for some reason I just can't stand them, so talking about me behind my back was wrong, something against what I am in life, the people I hate are people who take things away from children, whom I can't wait to meet in life, apart from gangsters, I love them all, family, I love them, I love them after today, this will be our last talk and I will go, I don't know where, but I forgive you for anything that has happened, anything I did to make me Hates, I still have to explore life because that's what I do one day, I hope we both get that thing that makes us happy, a toolbox full of makeup, but I'll be on my way now, I asked God to let me meet my enemies, so I need to prepare for this 😊 and let me show what I envy I think a parade could happen, but remember this always, I love you. My vision of a spiritual parade came true after a forgiving event, God has placed every person in my life at a time when I thought I was alone. The special day that happened when I asked God as if he were listening to something, tell me if he was ready for the next part because forgiving someone who hurt me freed me from many things, I guess in that conversation I asked him, hey, can we get a limousine? When we do this best part of things and low cyclists, can I get some of those too? The answer was ummm hum, yes, anything. In life, God responds even to people like me, so don't lose hope and don't be bad or hateful, don't do much harm today, you will often find me alone more than associating, it's not that I'm being rude, I'm just keeping the peace.

I live in California, I have been in many churches, different cities, I haven’t yet to hear a priest that would have an inspirational message about the Eucharist. That is why, there are so many people that don’t believe in it.

I believed in sacrifice really by taking Jesus by tongue no lay minister why even if many will take communion. there are other priest who could help,, , example in a parish with 3priests in there,, and during communion they have to give communion too,, tgere must be sacrifice for both priests and laities to take communion...during fiestas,, theres lots of priests to give the EUCHARIST to the communicants,, but this modern church is djfferent seems the comfort must be... I will go back to tradition who let me confessed personally, give tge EUCHARIST by my tongue in other words ni mask,,that covid bring me back to tradition back to truth,,, priests had no fear of covid but serve GOD to save souls,,, my church!

It is the US conference not council also this is just more Novus Ordo nonsense, when the true Catholic Mass is returned to it it's proper place that will be the revival!

I’m sure everyone has suggestions but in my personal opinion priest themselves need to handle the Eucharist with respect. Monkey see monkey do. Stop communion on the hand. Bring back the altar rails and receive communion kneeling. That I believe would have a great impact. If you don’t believe me look at the growing numbers at the TLM.
