Now that's a beautiful paint job. Euclid's "Hi-lite" green was and still is an eye catcher. I've seen a couple of these tractors in action and they never fail to draw attention.
Me too. Many relatives worked for the New Departure Hyatt Bearing Division. That was my grandfather’s first real job. Later on he became the CEO of a trucking company. His semis were the GM equivalent of a Mack gold dog. GMC/Chevy trucks with Detroit Diesel.
I could have got one of these for $2500 , with a Unicorn lift cyl. I kick myself everytime I see one . I was much younger then , and couldnt afford to have it moved .You have to split it in half , and roll each half on separately,. so two lowbed trips .
Great job. I am sure this would really get the job done and is a great looking machine. To each his own, but I am not crazy about that color, for a bull dozer, or any other heavy equipment. Eucs were always impressive machines, to me, but that color? Just me, I am sure.
Amazing looking machine!!! Maybe someone can't let me know, does it pivot in the middle from front to back somewhat? Only asking because it seemed like the engines moved up and down from one another slightly in the video. Beautiful color and looks tough as heck!
Come on guys. I love dozers and GMs, but that dozer was a heart ache. Not sure if it was the GM or the Eauclid . Maybe just both of them together, . Not a great machine.😢
Hey mate fly to Christchurch or Queenstown in new Zealand 2025 Easter , you'll absolutely love it , more earthmovers, trucks , tractors than you've ever seen in one place
The TC-12 is not actually two separate dozers linked together. The TC-12 from the onset was designed as a twin-engine split frame machine. The TC-12 was conceived in 1954 and the C-6 in 1955.
@@graemets3 Yes, it's essentially two tractors joined together... a very interesting concept but not a great design that was never duplicated and died out.
