Euclidean rhythms combine beats controlled by steps, pulses, and offset. Named after Euclid, these rhythms divide time ranges equally using his algorithm. Developed by Professor Godfried Toussaint in 2004, inspired by flamenco music's circular rhythms. It explains diverse rhythms like African cowbells and bossa nova claves.

At first you might assume woodkid is just a singer, but alas, you dive deeper and realize he's a true Artist.

Lovely to see & hear a new Woodkid work. Disappointing that it's merely a watch ad. However, as I find watch construction and time keeping fascinating, I still like it. Did you know we may have changed the length of a day, but only by milliseconds, through the axial tilt disruption? Just something that popped up on another video's comment thread recently.

Woodkid c'est ces musiques comme Iron ou Run boy run entendues partout pendant des années. Je pensais que Woodkid était une star afro américaine connue depuis longtemps. J'ai réellement découvert Woodkid avec Guns for Hire dans la série Arcane. Le son, l'instrumental, le timing étaient parfait, lorsque la musique et l'image fusionnent l'instant est comme suspendu. J'ai découvert que Woodkid est français et qu'il est aussi un artiste 3D. Je me suis vite reconnue dans son parcours, femme de la communauté LGBT, artiste 3D et passionnée de chant. Contrairement à lui je n'ai jamais osé voler de mes propres ailes préférant la sécurité d'un emploi plus conventionnel au détriment de mes idées artistiques. Toujours autant perdue dans ce monde étrange, Woodkid m'a fait sentir un peu moins seule et son parcours m'inspire même si je n'ai sûrement pas autant d'ambition. Son travail me fait penser à David Bowie que j'admire également beaucoup. Checher de nouvelles façons d'écrire la musique et de la communiquer visuellement je trouve cela formidable. Woodkid me fait penser à Thom Yorke, Hozier, John Cage ou encore Sam Smith mais j'aime à penser qu'il est aussi peut être le futur Bowie. Merci de nous offrir cet art.
