Got two of these (one each corner house facing the driveway and front lawn) and one is now playing up and intermittently disconnects from HB3 - getting error 204 after working well for 2 months. The motion detection has gone. Nothing has changed from my initial setup and the other camera is still working well. This is Eufy fucking up again with its low quality hardware. Good luck with yours.
Just bought this s340 camera, and so far im not happy with it, as it not triggered by any motion other than humans & vehicles, it certainly does not record my dogs motion even at night, which is a very important feature for me, also strange that eufy state that this camera doesn't record other motion other than humans during the daytime, however it does in fact record vehicles motion during the daytime ?
That's odd - mine is even triggered by my 2kg chihuahua - although it records him, it does not track him (left and right). S340 pet tracking is not yet a thing
@eufysecuritycameraowners4795 Thanks for your reply, it seems that the HB3 is required for the cam to trigger the motion of animals, but why do I have to find out this information from users & not Eufy themselves who don't have a clue. To be honest, there are so many issues with this cam that I wouldn't give it 1 star, as never mind tracking animals/pets etc, it doesnt even fully track humans properly , as it stops half way through the pan. I've not had any problem with my indoor Eufy pan & tilt cam, it works flawlessly, except it can't be used outdoors.
