Pahud is among the best floutists EVER. Ach! those runs are beautiful, and the tone in the lower register is so rich. The lingering last note is the perfect finish. Fuminori Tanada's accompaniment was fantastic. Thank you!

I seen pahud push in his headjoint toward the end...its nice to see someone pay attention to tuning as much as he does...its just as important if not more than playing correct notes.

I am russian man 50 y . old , I play on flute too ......

I have the deepest respect for Pahud as a flutist, and this performance only confirms my respect :D he plays the flute like a FLUTE - just the way it ought. But does anyone pick up anything wrong with those tricky high notes? maybe it's just because I'm very hard or hearing in high frequency ranges, but I thought I noticed a few harsh high notes. I think he moves a bit too much when he's up there. any thoughts?
