But like this it makes sense, it's all good. :-) (thanks for the response, btw) I'm a FF fan since the late 90s and i love the, really unique, work of you and your bandmates. And i hope you can sort this stuff out and make another record in the future. So thanks for all the great music! I guess he could go a little faster, haha. I'm often surprised by how new younger drummers can still do new, faster and exciting stuff.

To me on the record it sounds like the hats are actually played in quarter notes and there are some kind of shaker/tambourine sample going on playing the 16th notes

gene hoglan has never asked for this and should be left out of this shit. he has never pretended to be the fastest drummer and is the nicest dude you will ever met. in fact he was asked by nile to be their drummer and declined and recommended george kollias knowing full well he would be much better suited for the job. and he left fear factory in 2012 anyways. gene is one of the few if not the only extreme metal drummer to have been twice on the cover of modern drummer magazine.
