I love that scene of them glancing at each other through the window. I’m starting to suspect that fez knew who she was the whole time, he just asked her what her name was to make conversation.
Thank goodness! I was wondering too because he ask her name and she just said Lexi, but when she goes to his store later on, he says her full name and then that flashback has him mention her full name which happened at least a year before this season. It was meant to be! 🥺😍
REMEMBER Fez said Lexi you are fearless. And she is; so i don’t think she will give up on Fez. I really think she will stand by him through thick and thin. They are soulmates.
I agree. There's going to be dark times ahead and the idyllic relationship he and she may have dreamed of soon having together may become something much harder to navigate than what could have been prior Ash's death. Fez threatened to kill Nate if he harmed Rue or anyone he cared about, Nate also had his place raided, and then savagely beat Nate's face in (though didn't kill him). Now Ash is dead, Ash who he loved more than anyone save his comatose grandma (who also may soon be dead). Fez is going to be a mass of rage and grief and just raring for a target to unleash it on. Possibly largely himself, maybe blaming himself for not guiding/raising Ash differently to make him less impulsive, but also fury at those who took Ash from him. Nate was on a revenge streak the end of s2, maybe we discover in s3 he was also responsible the cops narrowing their focus on Fez and Ash's business? Nate's revenge for the emasculating beatdown in 2x01? If Nate was secretly responsible and Fez finds out? Nate will be dead for sure. Though if that's the case, I don't want Fez to go down with him. However, Lexi is a planner. She's going to try to reach him and try to get him to deliberate and not just be some savage creature letting his rage & grief fuel impulsive actions that'll just get him killed or sent to jail the rest of his life. Not to say she'd prevent him taking that vengeance, I don't think she'd be able to stop him and she'd know it (hard to say she'd even want him to stop, becoming a caregiver to those around her at a too young age just like what happened with Fez at a too young age, Lexi would be aware how she herself would feel if someone she deeply loved and cared for was taken from her so brutally and suddenly). Because Lexi would so deeply empathize with Fez's grief and compounded by her slow built bond with him in s2? As crazy as this may sound, I could see her secretly helping Fez seek his revenge, but do so carefully where Fez doesn't end up dead or in jail. This Lexi with the character growth she's since had, more willing and able to stand up and fight to keep another someone she cares for (loves) from falling down a self-destructive path. Not sure how much I want to read into this either, but two characters were called "a motherf****** G" in season 2... Fez's grandma via Rue's narration in 2x01 and Maddy calls Lexi this in 2x08. Not much to go on, but first and last eps of the season, like bookends, and two women so closely associated with Fez? Seems on purpose to me. NOT to say Lexi is exactly like Fez's grandma, Lexi isn't like her at all, but I think in the sense these women able to bring Fez out of some very dark situations and help him survive. Though Lexi not as violent or impulsively driven in her actions as grandma was? Lexi being much more deliberative? I do see Lexi being capable of destroying someone under the right motivation, just much more carefully so she (or Fez) wouldn't get caught.
Ash: I can see what’s happening. Faye: What? Ash: And they don’t have a clue. Faye: Who? Ash: They'll fall in love and here's the bottom line. Our trio's down to two. Faye: Oh. Ash:The sweet caress of twilight. There's magic everywhere. And with all this romantic atmosphere. Disaster's in the air.
@@williamthach7 (that part is covered by Labyrinth and the rest of the cast. Rue, Maddy, Jules, Kat, etc) Fezco: So many things to tell her. But how to make her see. The truth about my past, impossible. She'd turn away from me. Lexi: He's holding back, he's hiding. But what, I can't decide. Why won't he be the king I know he is? The king I see inside?
