This is something I ponder all the time. Everyone works to be stable and have the best. Yet.. It's temporary. We lose it all in death. So I often think, living off grid and off the land. Would be the most beneficial and fulfilling life. I think when we live simple, we live the best. However, it all seems constructed to keep us working our entire lives, to retire and die. While the rich benefit off of our spent time. In which we will never get back.

If you’re going to become a Christian please consider becoming a Roman Catholic. Our tradition goes back 2000 years, longer than any other sect. We are the ones who compiled the Bible in the first place. You can go to mass any day of the week and receive the Eucharist, the body of Jesus himself. God is forgiving. You can have a confession with a priest any time. The Protestants teach you can pray to God and he will forgive you. But that really isn’t reassuring at all. How will you know what you must do for penance? It also gives you a clear guidebook or right and wrong, instead of relying on only your intuition. Please consider this.

But this is not all , because even if we are cleansed , we are still humans on this Earth and will keep sinning , and so if Jesus is not here to show us what to do to not sin , then what should we? Well when Jesus left he said: "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26 KJV". So God gave us grace , which is Jesus , who gave us forgiveness and freedom from sins and the Holly Ghost/Spirit to guide us to everlasting life ! But all of this is possible only through faith in his work! But if you don't have faith , don't worry ask for it, because as I said a little upwards ,He put the thought of eternity in the hearth of everyone. And so in Romans 12:3 : "For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith." So keep wishing for happiness and joy and peace, but you'll never find it here because:"Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity. Ecclesiastes 1:2 KJV".
