Can you think of a better outfitted commuter ebike? The City Robin X is our top choice! Using our affiliate link supports Ebike Escape: euphree.com/RYANEBIKEESCAPE
Awesome bikes!! My wife and I absolutely love ours, great looking bikes, super comfortable, plenty powerful, and very reasonably priced compared to other brands.
I have spent much of the weekend watching your videos. Love them. Tested a Trek Townie Cruiser yesterday. Really liked it except you can't remove the battery. I decided to start researching comparable, or somewhat, comparable ebikes. Your videos lead me to wanting to take a look at Euphree City Robin X+ (but worried about fit, being 5'4" 30" inseam) and the Aventon Pace 500.3. Have you compared the two side by side? I see you don't include Trex in your videos. Really interested in your advice.
I have not. Generally if you want lighter weight go with the Pace. If you want the creature comforts go Euphree. Unfortunately Trek has declined my requests to try and review their bikes. I do think you get more value from the other brands unless you really value having a dealer (if you don't love near an Aventon or Euphree dealer) Either way you go I appreciate it if you use our link (or email me your receipt if you buy in store).
@@EbikeEscape I tested both the Euphree and Pace at LBS, and ended up buying two Pace 500.3 from a LBS an hour away. Does sending you a copy of my receipt help you in any way?
I love your channel thank you for your honest feedback. I live on the West Coast of Canada and it's tough not having access to actually testing these bikes. We totally rely on your feedback. I've just sold my RadRover 5 that had the Bolton bike 35amp controller. I ride about 25 to 30 miles per day mostly flat roads with two steep hills. I'm finally down to two bike's this City Robin X and the Ride 1up Prodigy ST. Please could you help me with my decision.
Thank you for the kind words. I think the deciding factor for me would be based upon if I wanted a mid-drive or not. Me personally, being someone who likes cycling, I would go with the prodigy. But if I just wanted an easy comfy commuter, the City Robin X would be my choice.
Stuck deciding between this and the Aventon Level 2. Keep looking at videos and reading articles and looking at websites and can’t make up my mind. Both seem like great options. I really like the City Robin a lot, but the Aventon brand has been around a long time.
I think Aventon being a more established brand is hard to beat. Another good metric we recommend to consumers is to “test” each brand. How easy it is to get in contact with either company. Easy to find a phone number? Is their live chat a real person? etc…..
There is enough adjustment in the seat post and handlebars (with the adjustable stem) that there was no issue with dialing in the fit for either person. -JT
Having the "old" City Robin y'all are making me feel badly. My range (based on extrapolating curve of % or volts vs miles) is only be 35-40 miles to get to 20%, Could use a higher ah battery.
