The Eureka! mod adds in several new ways of travel whether it be by sea, lava, or air by allowing you to make fully functioning and accessible ships! At the time of this video the mod was in ALPHA and is expected to have bugs! Beware before adding it to your world. That being said, it requires multipl e mods to run properly (listed below).

Honestly a mod that adds skyships and mobile bases is an incredible idea, and I'm glad someone decided to make it! I could see myself having an incredible amount of fun just building up and designing a base that meets all my needs while being designed to give me freedom to explore and coupling it with exploration based mods/modpacks. Obviously it being in alpha means that specific idea is likely a ways off, but I can see this becoming a staple in my library of mods for sure

It’s really fun to use with rpg mod packs that focus on exploration, I started out by building a houseboat with a tutorial and attaching these to it then later made a steampunk airship.

Woah. I thought this was just gonna be a port of Archimedes, but the new features are really something. I've never seen a mod that allows you to build onto a block entity! Edit: Holy flip, the blocks have functionality!?! Flying bases, here we come!

they arent entities, they are in a different dimension im pretty sure and are projected along with collision to the overworld. same thing goes for create aeronautics (coming 2023)

I was playing the mod Valkyrien 1 yesterday in 1.12 and love it, so stable with mods and collisions. I was able to make a tank that drives and mech by combining it with Redstone plus rotation pistons

What's great about this is mod is it works with chisels and bits to make your airships and boats more detailed.But do note if you were to make the balloons or floaters into bits you can but it will no longer be considered as a floater nor a balloon.

This plus Ars Nouveau with an integration mod to use source for fuel and then a void-based world generation mod for greatly spread out island cities, etc. would make for an awesome Spelljammer multi-player server.

I can confirm that this mod on a forged server makes for a damn great time (1.20.1). Truly relives the exploring part of minecraft with friends. Build a big airshipbase and go exploring (recomended with extra structures and biomes mods)

It works with Pistons and red stone? I want to make a realistic submarine movement using pistons to change the weight and orientation: Piston move weight to the Bow lifting the Stern to advance downward. Piston move weight to the Stern lifting the Bow to advance upward.

most airship mods similar to this don't show the hitbox when looking at a block on the ship which means that you can't place blocks on it, so when I saw you look at a block on the ship and it had a hitbox I was utterly astonished, because that meant you could place blocks on it.

This mod is amazing but just one question. Is there a way to change the buoyancy of the floaters or maybe like settings to change that? When it comes to really big ships unless I build it entirely out of floaters the only way I can make it float is by placing hundreds of floaters below the ship which looks weird and bumps into the bottom of the ocean a lot

This MOD is incredible, if it were more simplified, it would be a great Official Update. Much better than making a mobile base out of redstones. The game needs bigger boats or airships so I don't have to leave my house behind all the time. 🤔

The original version had a value for how many blocks a ship can have. I bet this has too (under Valkyrien Skies settings, since Eureka is an addon and VS is the core/engine)

Everytime I disassemble my game crushes, and after I rejoin, when I disassemble it does nothing, and if I break the blocks, they drop, but stay, like a ghost blocks, and after I leave and rejoin there are no more ghost blocks, why is that happening? I have a good laptop, so it shouldnt be its fault
