Huh! I've lived here for 6 years and my wife's been here 13 years and neither of us heard of the Funky Twig. We'll have to go sometime. And it's funny because while you were shopping at Hart's, we saw two of our friends just randomly in your video. Glad you came to our little town. Diversity is our main goal here. We are 95% all friendly and close, and the other 5% don't stick around too long. I live on the Historic Loop and all of our neighbors are all real close. Occasionally, we will have a little get together. We own two pot bellied pigs that people stop by to see often. I am the local DJ at KESA FM afternoons and we hope all hope you come back to Eureka, especially during our many outdoor festivals and parades. Great video. Thanks for sharing

This is my favorite video from you guys! It is my favorite because my late wife and I used to spend many days hanging out there and it was one of our favorite places!
I remember going there on the spur of the moment with a friend in March of 1994, the day after Eureka Springs got 7 or 8 inches of snow the night before, got some great video shots of Eureka Springs covered in snow, the lookout tower in the middle of town was closed unfortunately, but the lookout tower near the Razorback gift shop was open, got some great video of the snow covered Hills.
@@MKandTJ unfortunately not yet, I always wanted to put it on RU-vid, it's about a 40-minute video, I transferred it onto DVD, but I'm not tech Savvy at all, I live in the country, difficult to find somebody to transfer it onto MP4 format, any suggestions I'll be glad to hear, the video isn't put together in any order it's just the exact way that I recorded it that day, also have video of, I guess it's the East Lookout Pavilion or gazebo, I'll look into getting it transferred this summer, if I do and put it on RU-vid I will message you through this site.
Loved seeing you went to Henderson State University. My husband graduated from there in 1971 with BA and in 1977 with MS. I graduated in 1979 with BSBA.

📍 THIS is my favorite video! This is the first video I watched of you guys! It was so helpful when we had a last minute change of plans to go to Eureka Springs instead of Colorado due to wildfires at the time, and just loved your filming and editing and personalities! It sold our decision of going to Eureka Springs for me!! (Even though the ice cream shop you went to was closed when we got there… dang it. 😂) 💕
Love the video and plan on taking the wife for leaves in the fall one day. Formerly an employee of The Cadets via YEA and loved it-albeit the last year was tumultuous to say the least. Still a fan of DCI and hoping for a great relaunch.
We both marched in high school and college! Although we never marched DCI, we have several friends who did. We always have to go to the local show- cannot wait until the relaunch!!
Nicole, we love the warm weather because we don't like to drive in the snow :) So honestly we have never been when it snows but that part of the state does see snow in the winter!
@@MKandTJ well of course I’m biased, but I think St Louis is a must! Go up to the top of the arch, or at minimum walk around outside beneath it and visit the free museum at its base. The zoo, history museum, art museum, and science center are all located in Forest Park and also FREE. IMO’s pizza is our most well-known local food, but if pizza isn’t your thing I can recommend other local food places too!
When we shot this video, Arkansas was under a mask mandate. However, since then the Arkansas Governor has lifted the mandate. Some establishments still ask that you wear it tho!
