He didn't miss on purpose, Jorgi's penalty technique is to wait for the goalie to make the first move before he kicks, that's why he makes the jump, if you look closely Pickford didn't move when Jorginho was kicking so Jorgi has no idea where Pickford will dive

Very sad day for England. Not only for the loss at home, but also for supporters' and team's behaviour. The most unloyal and unsportmanlike ever seen, in the whole Euro story. Although the manifestation was evidently organized to make England win (playing home most of the matches, including the last, and reaching the final because of a false penalty simulation, against Denmark), they deservedly lost the match and the trophy, cause Italy was clearly stronger. Pickford's tricks and fans' howls in order to deconcentrate italian players at penalties, were quite miserable, but most of all, english supporters hunting the italians after the match, made a very sad and uncivil spectacle. Quite a bad day for England.

@@alessandromix75 Il problema non è il saltino (anche Van Basten lo faceva), il tiro era molto angolato ma debole, il portiere ha deviato sul palo, nove volte su dieci entra in porta e invece stavolta gli è tornata in mano, rigore tirato non benissimo ma portiere un po' fortunato

A great win but for me didn't really matter that much as I'm half Italian 🇮🇹 and English 🏴 but sorry I always go with a nation that wins the most in tournaments also if England had won then we don't have to keep hearing about Englands win back in 1966. An Italy-England final was just destined to happen it came close to happening in euro 1968 but England lost 1-0 to Yugoslavia in the semi-finals and it came extremely close to happening in world cup 1990 where Italy and England both lost their semi-finals on penalties so they both played the 3rd place match
