Old is way better than new c63!! New one is horrible! Old one is nutts!! And the 6.2 is a masterpiece! Really dont need supercharger the natural 6.2 will never be beaten!!

The new one is a bit apologetic in its design. I can spot them from the front (huge air dam) but the side and rear it more or less looks like a plain C class.

The C63 should come with a wide body like this from the factory. The stock C63s bodies look very weak.

I disagree. Side by side, the w204 looks so old compared to the w205. It’s too bad Mercedes didn’t carry over the old V8 into the new body. That way there would be no reason to look at the w204 AMG anymore.

Please don’t ever get rid of it, not the same but I got rid of my e92 m3 and moved onto a type r. Full regret, turbos suck. Nothing like NA power. Looking for a C63 now

c63 mercedes is real car never gets old i for years to come. i own same model w204 c200k pre fl already 11 years interior/exterior still fine like new..

I’m with you. Stock it’s a great car. This build for me is exceptional in power and looks.

I used to think they were amazing and then I drove my buddy's E63 AMG and I knew it would be heavier and more fun in the higher RPM's but my RS3 for some reason feels more fun. I was scared taking that thing into a turn and going 0-60 just did not feel as fun as in my RS3. I guess I am one of the very few that take weight to power ratios very seriously. Plus, I like cars that feel nimble. This is probably the reason why I love Porsche haha.

Neil Reid I don't know I owned a stock W204 but sold it after 5 months coz it was such a borrowing car to drive. Maybe if all you want to do is burnouts then yeah this car will suit you but it doesn't offer a great deal of excitement to a driver. After my 63 I bought a E46 M3 CS and there is no comparison! That car is so engaging and after 2 years it still put a massive smile on my face every time I'm in it! This car can do everything and seems to do it quite well I would highly recommend to anyone who likes to drive

There were a few fitment issues that have been sorted. Didn’t notice the good gap but there were a few. The car looks so much better and it’s a beast!

While you're at it, you may as well tell him that; 1) Some (brand new) replacement camshafts do not have their radial oil holes drilled deep enough, and as a result the camshaft journals/caps may not be lubricated at all, or will not be properly lubricated. 2) The oil spray/jets aimed at the intake camshaft will not always adequately lubricate the intake camshaft. This (plus soft camshaft steel and valvetrain acceleration rates that are too high and/or implemented with a base circle that is too small) is one of the main causes of premature camshaft wear on these engines. There are 1000's of M156/M159's out there with these (potentially catastrophic) problems. The problem is exacerbated by dirty oil and oil of too high viscosity. 3) Be careful oil of a too high viscosity (even if it is new), as it will exacerbate the above-mentioned issues. 10w/60 is usually enough. 4) Replace head studs with ARP if not already done. I am pretty sure this one would have been done when the S/C was fitted. 5) Double up on oil changes if possible. Cheers.

That's at full throttle. The sound tests for legality are steady throttle at, say, 55mph (probably 1,700rpm in 7th gear for that model), so it's pretty quiet.

@jeebus2121 true, and comfort mode shifting means starting in second and the transmission wont hold gears as long as sport. at least with 722.9

brian kitum Wheel horsepower is what’s hitting the ground at the tires. Brake horsepower is at the crank. Usually the wheel hp runs about 15-20% less than brake or crank hp.
