they don't always deploy in the case of there not being a front passenger, manufacturers can program the airbag control unit to only deploy certain airbags if the car senses there's someone in that specific seat, which is why the front passenger airbag tends to not go off if there isn't a front passenger
Test is just too easy. Nearly every car have 5 stars. We need small overlap where mobile deformable barrier goes 60 km/h and tested car 50km/h. We need heavier barrier. More speed in large overlap crash test.
No, they didn't. 32kph for side pole and 60kph for side mobile barrier as usual. Plus, didn't see any of changes about speed in their website. And if they do, it would probably happen after Jan 2025🙂
@@MaticTheProto Ummm, I believe that Mercedes tries to make it more elastic to prevend passenger from seriously injured. Sometimes it just won't be better when things too solid.
