History: This helicopter was registered in Canada as C-GGKX (2) to CHC Global Operations Canada (2008) Inc from 10.08.2010.
During the late afternoon at around 16.00hrs of Tuesday the 4th of January 2011, this helicopter while based for maintenance with Heli-One at Boundary Bay in British Columbia suffered substantial damage when it overturned with its turbines running and came to rest on its left side during a maintenance check with just its pilot on board. Gladly no one was injured by this accident. As the aircraft was reported as not airborne, it is not by aviation regulations an accident and declared by the TSF as a maintenance incident. The Transport Safety Board will investigate this incident.
Cancelled as exported to Australia since 01.09.2011.
This helicopter became then registered in Australia to Lloyd Offshore Helicopters P/L as VH-KSJ from 08.09.2011 till exported to Austria.
Registered there in Austria as OE-XKP (2) with Mode-S Hex: 44089F to Heli Austria GmbH since November 2016.
In this video, you can witness the helicopter actively engaged in the transportation of two climate control systems to be installed atop the roof of the ERGO building in Düsseldorf, Germany. The professional work commenced at 9 a.m. and was efficiently completed within just 30 minutes.
