Another interesting thing: most of them never met anyone else beside the producers in the recording studio. For example: Kim Sanders never met Tony Harrison (Captain Hollywood) The producer/s invited several singers, all made recording sessions, and then they picked the best one. That's why many of them weren't a part of the videoclips, the management / acts picked a dancer that could commit to be in their live shows and use her in the videos so people will think she's the "Actual" singer. Only last year I found out that Tania Evans from Culture Beat always recorded her parts alone in the studio, and that she hardly had any interaction with Jay Supreme.

@@ExplorHits How interesting!! I didn't know that, but it does make sense. Most acts were never featured on the cover of their singles. The vast majority of the covers only had random images.
