Omg this is SO AMAZING! , you always manage to just...omg x3 I love how you incopriated actual non suiters in the video too, and perfect amount, not to much not to little. Thier facial expressions are the only thing that can truly convay how fun we have it there!
aww man, so nice to hear :3 so this is your new suit, I did not know :D yay that you like the music, I really liked your set you did at the EF 2015. Pity that this wasn't possible this year :'(
Ich bin ja so eine Schande, anstatt ich mal hier auf den Kanal schaue, glotze ich mir jeden Tag deinen FA Account an. Jetzt 3 Tage nachdem das Video on ist, habe ich es durch zufall gefunden. *schäm schäm* Such a beautiful and epic video, by such a excellent and amazing furry ps: Bin gleich doppel schändlich, hatte dich gar nicht Abonniert *o.0
Also thanx for the nice comment
Ayyyy Aaaawesome video :DD I personally would've liked to see some color grading, because that fits better with the shallow depth of field in my opinion. But yea, everyone has his/her own preferences and style. Talking about shallow depth of field, what kinda setup where you running to achieve this kind of footage? Lens, camera, any lights?
tnx 4 the nice comment :) regarding color grading I tend to do it pretty minimalistic. Also some scenes would need a little bit more touch up, so u're right there. Setup is my trusty old 5D Mark II with only two lenses (SMC Pentax-M 50ƒ1.7 and 28ƒ2.8). Available light only. Some intercuts from a camcorder, also.
Hehe no problem dude ^.^ Your video's are really good, you deserve more subscribers. Oh well, I'm guessing the main reason you're making these video's is the same as mine: To express your creativity and as a thank you to everyone who was involved with the event. I only really started making video's this year, well I've done some stuff back when I was a kid, but this year I started a study on audiovisual design and it the spark came back. So I spend a 1000 euro's on filming equipment and EF was actually the first time really using it. Now I want to buy my first prime lens but I'm not sure what i want to get, so that's why I asked you :P I noticed both of those lenses are manual focus, I was wondering how you did the focusing but then I noticed you're not using a Steadicam like I did :P. Shoulder rig I guess? I'd love to try one of those out some time, tho I'd have to get a better lens for it first, cuz this kit lens is just seriously the worst on manual focus. Alright thanks for the information^^ Btw, its really impressive how you just don't seem to have any obvious noise in the darker scenes. Its the worst struggle in the world for me: under and over exposure. Luckily I have magic lantern to help me out a little bit. Still hard tho.
First of all, thanks for your reply once again :3 You did exactly point it out: first of all those vidz are a 'thank you' to the con, its visitors and the staff. And I have fun in creating them :D Great to hear that you also invest in good equipment! And yes, shoulder rig, all manual. Often this results in more or less shaky and blurry shots, not always in focus. But I can live with that. ML is also the way to go for me, it works nicely. Regarding noise there are only minor visual issues as the 5D sensor does a great job. By the way: I got an improvement on my fast 50mm lens. Now it's the SMC Pentax-M ƒ1.4. Got it for 80 bucks, in almost perfect condition (production year 1984). Did the conversion for the EF mount (you have to remove some pieces from the lens) and it is just a joy. Ofc wide open it's too heavy, but nice to have anyways. Wish you the best for your filming, man ='D
Ayy, thanks for you reply too! And yess I know riiight!! Video creation is the best thing in the world, especially if you know people are going to be enjoying your vid's^^ Just thinking about it right now actually lights up my heart ^~^ And yea dang it man, I’m almost jealous of your setup hehe, you got so much more control like that. I am with my Steadicam really just totally dependent on my autofocus, which isn’t really the best on my 700D. Well the 700D isn’t really outstanding in any particular area tbh, but it’s pretty much all I could afford and a decent entry level allround dslr. And wow dude, a lens from 1984?? That's insanely old! And yes under normal light of course. But if you're in a really dark area without much lighting I think its aawesome. Or if you want some insane depth of field in for instance a product review where you want to highlight a certain small detail of the product or something. You'll definitely need an ND filter for that tho. Something I still have to get actually. Man there’s so much stuff I still want to buy for my setup. Well I still got over half a year to go untill NFC :P And maybe some school projects in between, but my kitlens will just have to do for that. Are you going to NFC?
I REALLY liked this video! I hope I can get my video making to this quality one day! (You can see my only con video on my channel). A few questions! 1. how do you go about choosing the music for your videos? 2. What editing software do you use? (I currently use windows movie maker as I am cheap) 3.What is your method for organizing the pace and flow of your videos?
Hi, thanks for your kind comment :3 1. I mainly use music from the Monstercat label, as they allow it. It's mostly EDM. 2. Final Cut 3. chaos ^^' no, just kidding. For each part/scene I go thru my footage over and over again, until I find a fitting part. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
