The name of the roller coaster was derived from the German-Russian space flight "Euro-Mir", which took place in 1994 with the participation of Ulf Merbold. A training module of the Russian Space Agency, which is similar to the former Mir space station and has been in the possession of Europa Park for a long time, is integrated into the building and can be visited (onwalk footage is included in the video). The waiting time should be shortened by the trance soundtrack "Project Euro-Mir", which Hell Bopp (Christian Steiger) and Nick Sputt (Ben Hosenseidl) produced especially for the Europa-Park. The trains of the roller coaster are rotatable by 360°, which means that you have to decide before boarding for a sitting position in the direction of ride or against the direction of ride. A spiral elevator, also called a spiral lift, pulls the roller coaster train upwards. While riding, the gondolas are turned, but locked up again. An exception here is the first car, which pulls the train on the spiral elevator up and therefore can not turn. After a first shot drive, the gondolas are again rotated 180° and locked again. On the way down you ride around mirrored towers, the cars accelerate up to 78 km/h. Here are some steep turns. At the end of the ride you pass a very long right turn in which a photo is taken. The g-forces are highest in this passage. Then it goes into a short left turn, the roller coaster train is braked hard and drives into the holding station.
