Well that's awkward, I knew I'd miss something. Of course I know that, I'm from Sweden for christ sake. I really need to get someone else to check my videos before I upload them. You get kind of "blind" from your own mistakes when you watch it before the final rendering :)

I just did a very nice game as England till 1750 got half of India controlled most of North america (the eastern side) and carribean also south africa australia and ivory coast i ended that game cuz it got boring also naval supremacy in that large of territory is hard aswell as an army so i really couldnt fight any large power since my 250k were spread out everywhere

Actually, Napoleon had six coalitions against him, the First was won by the Republic with him in Italy, but not as a leader. And when he was Emperor (1804-1814-1815), it would make it five coalitions in ten years.

this may seem random but can you get the Danish empire to colonise Southern Africa and do a video on the Danish conquest of southern Africa it'd be interesting. Another idea is Scramble for the Pacific since there were points when New Zealand could have become a warground between Russia Britain and France.... look it up its really interesting I visited one of the Forts that would have been a stronghold capable of defeating the Russians, its really interesting how close war was to new zealand in this time

When I started it I was thinking about completely skipping CNs and just go for complete domination of Africa, India and Malacca islands. The map wouldn't be as pretty though.

I've thought about it, but my videos requires you to take a lot of pictures and notes about what is happening in the world and it kind of feels like too tall of an order to make. I also think that some of the charm in making videos is that you don't make new ones all the time but you take your time to make them in as good quality as you can. But I'm not dismissing it, I'll just keep doing it myself for the moment!

I had so much admin point and almost no diplomatic, and since I couldn't colonize yet because of diplo tech I didn't take expansion yet. I also didn't really expand too much so admin would've been a waste. I knew that economic would help me to get the industrial revolution achievement so I went for that one

They keep the AE low by making good games and DLC's, most of the time.

Play as Lithuania instead and try to force the PU on Poland. Makes for a more fun campaign IMO.

Even if you lose you can usually get away with forcing your allies to release countries or something, you don't have to come out the loser even if you lose the war :)

Had negative income a lot, sustained it by demanding ducats in peace deals and taking loans. My income when the game ended was 520 or something

Conquer all of Africa as Kongo. It used to be a lot easier when Africa had like 1/3 as many provinces!

I've already done a campaign when I formed Malaya and made it a great power. The Philippines would be hard to play as it isn't an nation in EU4 :)

The thought struck me. I conquered a lot of their colonies and it wouldn't have been hard but I wanted to focus on India which took up most of my manpower because of the insane attrition damage. In hindsight it would've made for nicer borders but I decided to play safe instead.

As you get higher income it's possible to go over your colonial limit and still not bankrupt yourself. As you get more and more ideas this gets even better since the passive growth will be quick enough without a colonist working on the colony. Also, when you have some ducats saved up you can have negative income for a while, even taking loans is fine as long as you don't overdo it. But I generally always have at least one more colony then my limit, sometimes more. As an example: You have two colonists, you start a third colony when one of your other colonies reaches around 500 people. You then rotate your colonists like this, always having the colony with the most people without a colonist. Also, always take the colonize mission to get a better growth. It's also worth it if you have the DLC to give your merchants colonial charters for even further growth.

Depends on what you want to do but you kind of have your core ideas already. If you're playing as England it might be a good idea to take an idea that boosts your navy, or if you're going to conquer Europe administrative is nice for the core reduction costs.

You can usually get Castille and Austria into the fight which means that France is pretty much screwed. Loans and mercs also helps!

You will generally get a mission that will give you a claim in India if you're playing a colonial nation. But if you don't get that you can vassalize a minor and then annex them to get a core there. The timelapse is a feature in one of the DLC's, Mare Nostrum if I remember correctly.

What you'll want to do is to invade a smaller nation so that you wont have to send your whole army there to conquer them. If you later want to expand in India you'll have a small zone there where you can transport your troops to during peace time.

Sometimes if they hate your overlord they'll support your independence which would lead to an alliance and truce timer. It might work just to play like you're playing Byzantium. Declare war on byz and win your independence alone then ally albania and hungary and beat the Ottomans back. Might take a few restarts though

Yukio Shinmon go ham with the ottomans, release Athens as a vassal and make sure they have 50+ pronvinces. Then give them independence and choose to play as Athens instead of ottomans. Then build your universities and ur done! TaDa!

Tons, I've never recorded it though. The Basileus achievement is one of the first harder ones I went for almost two years ago. I also got the Albania achievement during the time you started in a war with the Ottomans and I've done the Dracula one as well. TL;DR: I've played a lot in the Baltic :)

Bernard Karp you can go Jewish as Ethiopia, don't need no custom nation.

You could also release the only Jewish nation in the game as Ethiopia if you don't have El Dorado
