In this Battle Royale only countries that had any land on the european continent were included. Stay tuned for new videos in the coming days and if you have any idea for a new timelapse feel free to share it in the comments. Enjoy!
I would have never expected that fate of Europe would be decided by perfect starting position but weak economy Portugal and terrible position, long borders but good economy Norway right after it seemed like Finland was about to conquer all. Amazing timelapse!
same reason that Transnistria is independent, this map goes by controlled land this doesn't seem like it needs to be explained but some people are stupid I guess making a youtube comment where you play dumb isn't a good way to fight for Ukraine my friend
@@cramer4506 It feels iffy to recognise claims that were fabricated during an invasion: if Albania had invaded Serbia to create Kosovo, it would be different. Land taken forcibly through force by another state isn't something we should condone, but geuine separatism and self-determination of peoples is another.
@@rainydaysyt9046 Then how do you recognize most any border in the world? Everything from the current borders of Lithuania to America to Peru were founded via conquest. Borders aren't set by "genuine separatism and self-determination" but (to paraphrase Bismark) blood and iron. Do you think that Kosovo exists because of a referendum? Because the latter was entirely founded by the fighting of the Kosovars, and propped up by the bombing campaigns and threat of violence of America. Do we deny the independence of nations such as Namibia, Eritrea, Algeria, or Bangladesh because they fought for it? Or because they had foreign backing for their wars of liberation? Should we insist Kaliningrad be returned to Germany because that was decided via warfare? Does Ecuador deserve Loreto returned to it? At what point do the borders decided by war need to be undone?
