At least five people have been found dead in eastern Romania after torrential storms unleashed record rainfall, leaving hundreds stranded in flooded areas, authorities reported on Saturday. Rescue teams rushed to aid those trapped in the hardest-hit counties of Galati and Vaslui. Meanwhile, hundreds have been displaced in Czech Republic and Poland as well. Cyclone Boris Emergency footage showed rescue workers navigating muddy floodwaters in lifeboats, helping residents to safety, and carrying the elderly through the devastation caused by the relentless downpour.
