Oh 100% John, thoroughly enjoyed winding down this fantastic mountain pass and won't be forgetting it anytime soon. You never know I might get the chance to visit more of the alps one day so I can make some more memories on the mighty Deauville 😁 Thanks for watching as always 👍

Those drops off the edge of the road give me the collywobbles

Definitely some scarily high roads but made for some very scenic riding nonetheless! Thanks for watching more of the series Blitzer, stay tuned for more collywobble action 😁

For the last 15 weeks, I've sat here on a Saturday morning waiting for the next instalment of Pooleys adventures.. The scenery in this episode was amazing. Need to get my swizzle sorted and go away on the bike..

It's becoming a Saturday tradition 😄 Really appreciate you're support on the series and hope the upcoming episodes are just as enjoyable. Get yourself booked on the Euro tunnel and get riding! Thanks again and stay tuned for more 😁

Thanks! I forgot how good this one was until I rewatched dit over the weekend 😁 Think I saw you on the A6 near the layby over the weekend but I was in the car so wasn't able to catch you up on the mighty Deauville 😉 Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed 👍

Just wait till we get to the Cime de la Bonette, even I got nervous near the top of that Col! Thanks for watching guys, looking forward to your series later this year when you head out that way 👍

bit of a different video, great stuff, the old girl fairly skelps along :) stunning scenery again

The Deauville just kept plodding on, amazing how it just did everything I asked of it and more throughout the trip. Things get a bit flatter in the next episode or two but the scenery stays just as amazing. Thanks for watching as always Charlie and stay tuned for more Europe escapades! 😁

I've been waiting for this one. Col Du Galibier was THE best road for views and riding for me when I was there. We went up the opposite way to you, then came back again.
@Pooley650

It's a fab road isn't it mate, hope I can return at some point to explore some of the other routes around the alps 😁 Thanks for watching Bilious and stay tuned for more like this 👍

@@Pooley650 we stayed near Alpe du Huez for the week, but I'd go back and do place to place like you.

The only downside doing what we did was not being able to explore one area more but it was definitely the best way to see the most in a shorter time frame 😁

Fantastic, absolutely fantastic 👍 That was a brilliant ride and the scenery was stunning. It would be good if you published the whole unedited start to finish of this mountain pass as it was so good.

Loved this one myself, very fun ride! I still have the 360 files so might be able to edit an unedited cut at some point but I might not have recorded every minute as the cameras were on and off a lot to save on batteries, I'll see what I can do 😄 Thanks for watching as always 👍

@@Pooley650 Aww that a shame but look forward to seeing if anything comes out 🤞 I am heading to the Swiss Alps in May and will have a DJI Action camera mounted on the front of my bike to capture every single mile of the passes. The camera will be connected to the bike's USB socket and it has 128Gb SD card and of course transferred at end of the days riding. Hoping to capture lots of memories. I did exactly that last March when I was in Isle of Skye and love watching it over and over again 😀
@Pooley650
@Pooley650 Год назад
Hopefully 128gb will be enough to last the whole day! I had a nightmare with filling memory cards for both my GoPro and especially the Insta360, I'll be taking more memory cards on future trips so there will be even more content to share 😁 Which parts of Swiss alps are you doing? Anything near to the stuff in my tour? 😃

@@Pooley650 Lucky boy getting more trips 😀I record at 2.7k @25 fps and will have plenty enough space I think, I do not see a huge difference between 2.7K and 4K when on a bike doing 70mph 😀Not currently planning to go to the French Alps but you never know, but plan to do all the main Swiss passes over three days before heading back to Amsterdam for the ferry, possibly via the Black Forrest. I will no doubt share some content once I get home.
@Pooley650
@Pooley650 Год назад
I've been experimenting with 2.7k at 25fps this year and it looks much better then my previous 1080p at 60fps and uses the same amount of memory so I agree 100%. Although I always upscale to 4k for RU-vid to reduce the amount of compression on uploads 👍 Also yes more big plans in this year and not just ideas, actually booked-in plans! Stay tuned for more touring series to come once I have eventually caught up on my backlog of touring vids from the last few years... might actually have weekly uploads for the whole year looking at things which I'm actually quite proud of 😆 I look forward to your own touring content if you do end up uploading it 😁

I do not get tired watching this one, was this recorded in 1080p? It came out very well but going to check some of your UK footage when the sun not shinning so well 😀
@Pooley650
@Pooley650 Год назад
Thanks, really like this one myself! Yes this was recorded in 1080 at 60fps but upscaled to 4k for RU-vid 👍

Just the scale of the whole place is breathtaking and you proper had the weather for it too. Brilliant series. BTW You used the term 'roadie'.... ah HA, clearly an MTB'er then Pooley. Get yourself a road bike and do some proper cycling. 🙂

It's a fantastic place, rewatched this one myself over the weekend and reminded myself of how awesome it was! I used to do a lot of trail riding in my teenage years but I don't think I would be able to go back to peddle power after experiencing motorbikes 🤣 Thanks for watching as always Neil, always enjoy reading your comments 😁
